When our condenser stopped working during the midst of the 2023 Houston Heatwave, Champion Forest A/C responded promptly with excellent service at a reasonable price. Their technician Rick solved the problem quickly. Rick is knowledgeable and professional!
David with CFAC inspected our furnace because it quit heating. He arrived early and was very polite and professional. Even though we need to replace parts on it he was able to get it running. Great job David.
Maybe I am seeing this wrong or I did more research after the fact but I wanted to check out this value or fair price other people have claimed. My AC stopped blowing cold and after some trouble shooing checking the resistance of a capacitor I was informed I would need a new one. I was told the 89.99 + 349.99 for the capacitor including install. I was a bit in shell shock. I looked up the exact capacitor purchased online and it was 15 dollars. The tech purchased it retail from a store down the street so picking a retail price let’s say 100 (on the top side guess). The install took less than 30 min and the run to the store took also less than 30 min. So going with that logic I paid 250 dollars for labor + the 89.99. I chose this business because it was local and I love supporting local and even having to pay a bit more is fine but this was a bit to much. The work was fast and professional but I will not use them again. Also if you are wondering no I didn’t call to complain , I agreed (my fault) so I pay what I agreed to.
We got several in home estimates and knew immediately we wanted Chapuon Forest to be our guys. We have 2 AC units and both needed replaced. They went over several options and they were very knowledgeable and helpful. They came to do the work the next week.. (it wasn’t an emergency). Great guys and great customer service from the first phone call to schedule an estimate. We got a thank you card along with our completed warranty registration info the following week.
David came to see why my a/c wasn't cooling. He was on time, very professional. I thought it just needed freon, but not the case. The freon was good. He found the problem. Since the unit was only 5 yrs old, he called manufacturer, found out it was still under warranty & replaced it for $100 off the part. He could have told me it needed freon when it didn't since I didn't go outside to the unit with him. He explained the program for maintenance. I was very pleased. I will be sure to tell friends about the great service from Champion Forest A/C!!
No one ever wants to call a A/C and Heating company. It usually means you have a problem and you are about to spend money. Whenever i call Champion Forest A/C and Heating i know with confidence that my issue will be treated promptly and professionally. I had an issue with my heating unit. Paul was out on time and did a great job. He gave me a price range for the work based on how long it would take him to install the part. When does it ever come out on the lower end of the estimate!!!!! I have used them for years and will always call them when needed.
David Escamilla is an amazing tech. He was punctual and clean cut. He took his time to explain everything that needed to be done to repair my ac and went over all my options. He gave upfront pricing. Fixed my ac in adequate time and allowed me to get to work on time. Thank you David I will definitely be recommending him to all my friends and family.
AC continued to automatically go off. Come to find out the pan was not draining and the backup of water caused it automatic kickoff to occur lines needed to be cleaned out service was excellent very hot and difficult conditions technician was professional and thorough and the arranging and scheduling was excellent I was very busy at the time of the need and the scheduling department set three times for me with no problems are additional charges was so pleased with the price I was able to give a very good tip to the technician. Could not have asked for more professional service.
EDIT: We had an issue during COVID with a unit not functioning - we called in mid-day and had a tech out to fix the problem within a few hours.The tech was very professional, walked through recommended options (repair vs replace) and associated costs. He was prepared, professional, and punctual. HIGHLY recommend this company; we've used this company 4 times on separate issues over a few years and each time the technician has exceeded our expectations.
