Xpress Heating & Air provided me one of the best experiences I've had in a long time. At 70 years of age I've used just about everyone in town and these guys are really impressive. first of all, I never felt pressured and secondly, I dealt directly with the owners Sam and Jaime, who communicated everything so simply that I now I feel that I understand HVAC a lot more than I ever have. They provided me an incredible price and even gave a senior citizen discount and installed the my new unit and ducting the very next day! Talk about "Xpress" Service. I would highly recommend to all. If you're looking for honesty, integrity, an excellent price then look no further.

My wife was sick with COVID when our AC went out and and the guys at Xpress were super fast to respond and take care of the issue. They were able to diagnose, find parts (travelled all the way to Austin!), and install a whole new system in just a couple of days. Can't say enough about how great my experience was!

We needed our A/C fixed and fast. It was 89 degrees Fahrenheit inside the house when we left to spend the night elsewhere. ABACUS wanted $16,000 for a new machine. Another company was cheaper but not available immediately. They needed 4 days.

That's when my other friend mentioned Sam Vargas and Xpress Heating & Air. Sam and his father, Jaime, got the job done for half of what ABACUS wanted and did it the next day. They installed and replaced my old A/C and furnace in just around 3 or 4 hours and my house was cooling before noon.

Sam has continually checked in; making sure that we are okay. He even offered to bring us water if these double storms/hurricanes, Marco and Laura, hit us hard.

It will not make sense to not at least give these guys a call and get an estimate. I couldn't find a better price and I have family friend's with their own A/C companies! When I called Xpress it took 5 minutes to get a quote and start saving $. The people answering the phone are extremely nice. It could be the best thing you did for yourself in a while.

We had a new HVAC unit installed three months ago by Xpress Heating and Air. Last week the condenser wouldn't turn on. Sam sent a technician and he determined the problem was the condenser disconnect switch was broken. Although the switch was not part of the the new unit installed, and therefore not part of the warranty, Sam didn't charge us for the service call and diagnosis. It's very rare to get such great customer service these days.

Have you ever came home from work walked in the house and ran right into a wall of heat... well that was horrible but it gets better. I am so grateful that I made the right phone call To Xpress Heating and Air spoke with Sam... Very professional, courteous and knowledgeable about the AC business... He not only knew what we needed but was able to give us options in making the purchase ... Oh but that's not all Sunday night I had no air, Monday talked to Sam on the phone Him and his father came over to look at the job cause my AC unit is about 8 ft up off the ground on a platform.
Well guess what Sam said no worries... Tuesday had my unit ...ready to install on Wednesday morning 1pm it was done. Let me just start out by saying that I just bought my 1st house just shy of 2 months ago and bought it in an area that I'm not too familiar with. With that being said, when the heat began to creep up on us at the beginning of June, I started to notice that my house was only 77-78 degrees even when set at 70. So I called the title company to get my home warranty information. Of course, my realtor did not opt for it. Just my luck.. Had a good friend come out and check the system out. Turns out the unit was 1 Ton too small, head pressure was too high at 9 in the morning and only 83 degrees outside. So my google searching began. 'Dickinson A/C company', called a couple companies, had 1 come and give me a quote (30% higher than Vargas), the other company didn't call me back until 4 days later, I contacted Vargas Development thru HomeAdvisor early Saturday morning and received a call from Sam within hours. I've always heard nightmares about contractor companies and told myself i was not going to tell them I already had a buddy come and diagnose my problem, I just wanted to see if someone was gonna be honest with me or if they were $$$ hungry. After probably 5-10 minutes on the phone with Sam, I could tell he ran a tight ship, he didn't need to come see what area i lived in to see if he could raise the price, he didn't ask about other companies quotes, he didn't ask for an address, just asked house sq.ft. and how many returns were in the house. He was able to get me a quote over the phone, urged me not to replace my entire duct system until after we installed a bigger more efficient unit because he didn't want me to spend unnecessary money. Not only do you get the standard 10 year MFG. warranty on your unit but VARGAS DOES A 10 YEAR LABOR WARRANTY TO SWEETEN THE DEAL, and like i previously stated, I got a call from Sam, mid-day Saturday, agreed to move forward, signed the agreement, the furnace, and evaporator coil were dropped off Monday afternoon, and his crew was there 7:30 am Tuesday with the condenser and remainder of the parts. They were done with work, cleaned up, and had my house cooling by 1:00 pm. 5.5 hours start to finish. Oh and no job Vargas Development or Xpress does, starts until an owner of the company is present and able to over see the project. If you're looking for a great all around home contractor, from A/C to sheetrock, to roofing, to remodeling, do yourself a favor and call these guys. I couldn't be happier with the quality of work and the level of communication from the OWNERS. Not representatives. Not technicians. Not a secretary. It's hard to find a family oriented, trustworthy, and reliable company that isn't out to get rich off every job. Takes the stress of future projects off your shoulders knowing when you're ready, you can call a reliable contractor.
