Horrible customer service. Had an appointment today to fix my washer and dryer hook ups because the hook ups were to far into the wall. The guy they sent out wasn’t here for more then 5 minutes and he said they didn’t send him with any of the supplies to fix the issue. Then I call and get spoken to like I’m a child by a lady who refused to give me her name and let me speak to her manager. I have a years warranty with Lennar and unfortunately they use this company to do there plumbing that is trash all around, From the workers they send to your home, to the customer service on the phone. Brandi was the only one who tried to do her job correctly and help the customer.
Our builder used this company, so we called them when we had a problem even though our AC warranty is on the unit, not labor.
On Saturday, June 10, I called for an emergency visit. It cost 199.00 to have someone come out and check the unit, but since it wasn’t working and we expected to have 100+ temperatures in the coming days, I willingly paid it. The young man came out and did some checking. He told it it was the board not allowing power to get to the unit consistently, so it would only run for short periods (10, 15, 20 seconds at a time.) He called his dispatcher and she said they would order the part on Monday and when it came in, they would call to set up the time to fix it. Probably on Tuesday. The young man was very nice.
Wednesday morning, I called and the man I spoke to said, “Oh, I see you had service. He read a little and said, “It looks like we need to order the part.” I explained to him that they were supposed to order the part on Monday and that we needed to get our AC fixed. He told me he would call me back before the end of the day.
At almost 4, I hadn’t heard back, so I called and spoke to someone else. I explained the situation to her and she apologized for the technician telling me that. When I explained that it was the dispatcher, she said that was a different story and said she would have the dispatcher call me that day.
I never received a call. Thursday morning, I called L&S and was told all of the systems - computer, phone, etc were down and they would get back to me when they came back up.
About 3, I was tired of waiting. I called another company. The young man who came out checked over the unit and said it was not the board. The condensation drain had been installed incorrectly and over time it started draining into the safety switch causing this problem. He provided a temporary fix and came out the next day and rebuilt the drain system. The AC works perfectly now.
L&S finally called on Friday morning and said they had ordered the part and it should be in on Monday and they would be able to install it sometime next week. My husband told her we had another fix it, but the board was not the issue.
I paid for a weekend call just to get the runaround from this company. I will not be using them for any type of service in the future.
Bo was my tech and provided a great experience. He arrived earlier than expected and was very patient in waiting for me. He came in and quickly diagnosed the issue and fixed it. He also gave me great tips on maintaining my unit which had not been provided by the builder rep. He was so good at it, I told him he should have a YouTube channel. I really appreciate his knowledge and professionalism.
My parents recently moved into a home where L&S was their warranty contact, and they have been great. Easy to schedule, very communicative, and they have quick scheduling times to get work done.
I called L & S because the seal to my gas line was damaged by Lowe's when they delivered my new range. L & S sent Frank Gebara out that day and he did an outstanding job fixing my gas line and installing my new range. He was professional and thorough and an absolute delight! Their hourly rate is very reasonable and I feel confident in both the quality of work and service I received.
I scheduled to replace two toilets. The scheduler was great but the days they were supposed to come out the communication was horrible. The Office wouldn’t follow up with a callback regarding a timeline. It happened on two different occasions. It had been scheduled finally to be installed between 12-5 PM. At 4 PM called to find out whether the plumber was still coming. 40 minutes later no callback from the office. Called again and they said the plumber was three minutes away. The plumber ended up showing up at 5:30 PM. It was one guy when it needed to be two. The service took longer than it should’ve because they didn’t have enough people on the job and the plumber had already worked a full day and was tired. Very disappointing… I don’t think it was the plumber issue. It was the scheduling and office keeping track of how jobs were progressing for their plumbers.
This plumbing company is extremely unprofessional on the phones when setting up appointments. Then when they finally dispatch someone they either no show no call or show up unprepared. In a 4.5 month span this company has failed to fix a faucet leak in my master tub by either not showing up, making more of a problem or continuing to show up unprepared and saying “we have to send out a different crew”, “we don’t have the right parts” and almost always saying “I was given and guidance on what to do for this job, just told to show up”. I’ve talked with supervisors who then assured they would fix the issues setting another appointment date while assuring the plumber would have the right parts and be advised on what repair needs to happen. To no surprise they sent another crew who came unprepared and explained they had no knowledge of the issue or were given guidance. If you want any plumbing work make sure this company is your last call.
Please beware these people do subpar work! My home builder used the for plumbing, electrical, and AC. The work was not done correctly 3 visits for AC and 6 months (multiple visits for jacuzzi tub). Kitchen not plumbed per plan. The tub was installed with jet not work and they removed it and broke the motor and wanted me to have builder replace it for them. Once tub was removed and reinstall we found the tub plumbing had leaks and the tub was defective it would not turn off. Once we received new tub the plumbing still had leaks. Again they had to come and fix the leaks.
The head guy came to supervise to ensure work was done properly after questioning my integrity. After they finished replacing the plumbing stated things look good I check the work myself and found a small leak which they did fix.
Please know that when you call they will tell you someone will call you back but most of the time no does. They will tell you they sending and email to internal departments but they most of the time after days don’t get a response back.
So, if they do work for you be sure to check.
I would give zero stars if I could because that’s what they deserve.
Bo and Jonathan came from San Antonio to Georgetown to repair my A/C that was not working efficiently. They diagnosed the system and found a small pinhole leak that no other tech could find. They were professional and knew exactly what to do to get the job done right. Another thing that I appreciated was that they took their time to do a thourough check to ensure that they did not have to come back a 2nd time. If I were L&S I’d definitely be trying to keep those guys on the staff.
They installed my Hvac system in my new build home and since we have moved it we have had nothing but problems with our AC keeping the house cool! The first time they came out it was discovered that one of the outside units were installed wrong and don’t have coolant but soon after the air still wouldn’t cool the room mainly the bedrooms. After the third call to get them to come out the technician discover that they forgot to put filters in our system after installation and that the valves to let air flow was never turned on. So that caused more problem to occur with letting unfiltered debris get into our system, so they had to rush order parts and schedule a service. Our first appointment was magically cancelled and no one knows who did it and so we got a second one with a 1 to 5pm showtime and it’s now 7:33 and not so much as a call . Every time we call, the operator seems mad that we are calling, as if it’s our fault they did a horrible job. As hot as it is in Texas they could care less about fixing what they broke.
