Ike's Air Conditioning

Not a rip off...but extortion!!
I called this company because they were the installer (prior to use buying the house), and it was still in warranty.
I was quoted $1184 to fix my AC that wasn't cooling. For a Contactor, a Run Cap (jargon for capacitor), and for a hard start kit, and the service call fee.
When I started to write it all down so I could go over it with my husband, that's when he told me I don't "need" the hard start kit. The $449 item he was just trying to sneak in there. Never tried to explain what it was or why I might need it, just added it to the list.
Obviously I did NOT have him repair this.
My husband bought an $18 contactor (per the parts manual) fro the AC parts store, 30 min to install it, and now its working just fine!
$18 part and they were going to charge me $1184.
Don't even THINK about using this company!!

They did a really great job. Impressed with the installers. Save me money on my rebate. I would recommend Ike's AC to anyone. Very honest.

I called to ask for a ductless air conditioner. The girl could not give any information. Gave me the address stating it was at a shopping center which is not, it is some warehouses. Then I get there and it is closed on Saturdays. She should have mentioned they were closed. If this is the kind of customer service provided before I even buy anything, imagine after they get my money...

I had my furnace fixed...... Ike's sent Richard out to fix my furnace and he was very professional and curious. The office staff is very friendly and easy to deal with. Thank you Ike's

Nate and Brandon were professional and installed a new furnace in my hime in a timely and efficient manner. They were both very knowledgeable.

The Technician is very knowledgeable and informative. Resolved the compressor noise and power issues and restored AC performance. Very satisfied with the service.

There service may be good but who ever drives their trucks needs to have their license reevaluated. He tailgated my car for almost a mile and I was unable to switch lanes. Mind you i had a 3 month old and 5 year old in the backseat. VERY unprofessional!

Had a new system installed this company was amazing from beginning to end walk us through the issue options and financing I would highly recommend them to family and friend .

Richard came out and replaced the motor in the condenser. He was very professional and worked quickly. We had cool air flowing in no time.
