Cowboys Air Conditioning & Heating

We've used Cowboys for over 20 years because in the past they have always been very reliable and trustworthy. We had a new unit installed in 2017. A year after and up to weeks ago, they have been very inconsistent in their service. We ended up having to replace the unit with them since we still have some warrantee left. During this process that started with a simple spring maintenance up the installation and follow-up services we have dealt with different individuals. Eric Castillo sold us this last but did not follow through as promissed. Ariel and Albert had to come back for different issues after the installation. These two guys finally got our unit up and running as it should have been from day one. The 3 star rating is because of their inconsistency in communication, follow-up and never knowing who you are really dealing with. A manager, supervisor, or just a tech. They need to improve in this area.

We have had a terrible experience with Cowboys. Last summer, on the hottest day of the year, our AC broke down and we called Cowboys out of desperation as they were the only company available at the time. Big mistake. They said we needed a full unit replacement. They sold us an overpriced unit and promised to install it overnight. When we checked the next day, they had barely even installed the unit. However, the technicians who installed our unit were super knowledgeable and kind.

We paid over $12,000 for the unit, only to have it break down the very next day. And to make matters worse, just eight months later, the unit broke down again, and this time, they told us that we needed our entire duct/vent system redone. We were stuck with their recommendation because of the warranty on the unit, and we had to pay an additional $8,000 to get our ducts/vents redone. Our entire system is now through cowboys. Every time they ask for our money they tell us that we will never have an AC issues again.

To date, we've spent over $20,000 with Cowboys, and our AC still goes out nearly every two weeks. Every time they send someone to check it out, they tell us something different, and everyday we're left wondering if our brand new over $20,000 system will work or not.

We asked Cowboys to send someone to do a full workup of the unit to find out what was truly going on, but the technician never even showed up. Their incompetence is truly staggering, and I have little faith in them. The technicians are very nice and professional but they are never able to truly fix the problem. If you're looking for an AC company, I strongly advise you to stay away from Cowboys. They may be the first to show up and offer help, but they're also the first to take your money and deliver subpar results.

Our AC went out on Sunday (of course). It was a newer AC unit (from another company) but due poor installation our unit caught on fire and burned the whole unit on the inside. Cowboys tried to repair all the burnt parts without success so we had to replace the whole thing! D Montoya and Angel González worked late into the night for two days to get us up and running! They did a fantastic job! We are so grateful and appreciate their hard work! They deserve a raise, a bonus or both!

Cowboy AC was Great! Very professional, informative and a good price. They answered any of my questions and always came when they promised. I highly recommend them!

I went with Cowboys because I have been with them for over 15 years. They put my moms A/C a long time ago then they put a new A/C in my home 7 years ago. I also recommend them to my son who is a disabled Veteran and they put an A/C in his home so of course I am going to stick with them. They just did all my duck work plus put insulation in then also got an air purifier put in. It was an amazing package deal. I recommend Cowboys Air Conditioning to everyone! They do great and affordable deals! Thank you guys for everything you have done for me and my family!

My 20 years old AC unit broke late Friday afternoon in the middle of the heatwave. Cowboys technician , Greg Git, was at my house the same evening. Greg was very professional, knowledgeable and polite. The install technicians showed up at 8:45 AM the following morning and the unit was up and running in a couple of hours. I would highly recommend Cowboys Air Conditioning and Heating !

Very positive experience. Greg did a great job of explaining the job and our current situation. He showed us before and after pictures. He is very professional, knowledgeable and personable. He inspires confidence and trust.

Josh was so professional. He had videos and everything of what he did. He showed the water going down the pipe and he even had a sound from video that you. Can hear the water flushing down. He recommended my motor on the outside unit needed more amps and gave me a price and assured me that they get parts from the manufacturer. Will be calling them back for that repair.
