Air Texas A/C & Heating

My AC wasn't cooling properly. The AC guy I've used for many years is no longer available (Hospitalized, incarcerated, retired to Puerto Rico or dead). I was weary of using anyone else. They have you right where they want you, your AC is out and you need relief fast. I called Air Texas and scheduled an appointment, I found their info on the web when I searched for repairs for Goodman products. Harrison just left my home after completing the necessary work. Turns out the issue I was having was relatively minor. He could have easily taken advantage of my situation as most people know very little about HVAC systems. My AC is blasting cold air like it did when it was brand new. The price was fair for the work done. Harrison was personable and very knowledgeable, even showed me what to do, how to do it and when to do it to keep my AC running right. Hot weather is right around the corner and I'm so glad I called these people. I found my new AC guy. Highly recommend this company as you are dealing with a person, not a company that's out to take you for all that they can. Thanks Air Texas! I'll never call anyone else for AC repairs. I called and Mark answered right away. He asked me what the problem was. I explained that my AC went out and what noises it was making and how the fan on the unit wasn't working. He told me what he thought it was and said he would be out to my house in an hour. They showed up in less than an hour and had it fixed in a short time. They were super friendly and I highly recommend to anyone to use Air Texas. Bonus is they don't rip you off like other companies.

Amazing service. Not only were they available for a same day appointment, they arrived 20 minutes after I called. I explained the issue and they identified the problem in about 5 minutes (bad capacitor). After replacing the capacitor, they ran a new thermostat wire that my dog had begun to chew through and explained how important it is to replace the filter every month. Both of these things were the cause of the problem. Extremely personable, knowledgeable, and I highly recommend.

Was having to have the freon constantly recharged. This last time did not last even a month. Was told by other companies I needed to replace the whole AC system. Harrison showed up same day of calling for a third opinion. His diagnosis it can be repaired. The leak was on the outside unit. No other company pulled the side of the unit off or even used a leak detector. The price was fair the repair was done 2 days later, work schedule for me, the house is cooled back down and I didn't have to spend close to 6k to replace an entire AC.

The guys from Air Texas were fantastic! They came to my home for a same day appointment and while my problem was a complicated one, they did not stop until they solved it. The price was more than reasonable for the work they did! I would strongly recommend them for any Heating or AC needs!
