We had a GREAT experience with A-US Air of Texas. Our call to schedule service came promptly. The technician arrrived exactly as expected. His name was Jeffrey and he was courteous, skilled and professional. He had to order a new motor and it arrived the NEXT day. Without delay Jeffrey called us and came the same day the motor arrived and installed it that Saturday morning. I’d give this company and Jeffrey in particular TEN stars if I could... because when your AC goes out during some of the hotttest days of a south Texas summer, service like this is a HUGE blessing!

Beware!! Shame on AHS for referring this company . SCAM ARTISTS... they misdiagnosed my repair issue charged me for Freon I didn’t need... left wires and chords exposed after the internal unit installation...called and called and callllled for weeks to get issues resolved with no luck. I GAVE UP....God help you if you have a repair issue. They literally hang up on you after transferring you around several times .....they will literally disconnect the call...AHS will not help... so mad I didn’t read the reviews first but you would think AHS would refer companies that are reputable so I trusted them... customer beware!

Forced to use this poorly rated company due to AHS. Earliest appointment was 4 days out and they were unable to give me a time frame. At 5pm the day before the scheduled service I had still not received a time frame. I called customer service and was told this was not a doctors office and I would receive a call eventually. The customer service representative spoke over me and was extremely rude throughout the call. I canceled the appointment. I would rather pay more for good customer service.

My opinion and experience: A US Air came out on behalf of AHS (home warranty company). They attempted to upcharge me $1100 for items already present and properly installed. They also tried to quote fake “code upgrades” knowing that AHS won’t cover those and that they’d be billed to me out of pocket. They also try to force this by collaborating with AHS who won’t do the repair if you don’t agree to the “code upgrades”. These code upgrades were already installed; this was a totally fake upcharge.
A-US Air never provided a detailed invoice of the repairs (except for the artificial upcharges). A review of Better Business Bureau reveals over 80 complaints, many for the same exact thing. It took me 3 months and demanding arbitration to force AHS to reimburse the cost of a legitimate contractor to do the work. That extra effort was all caused by A-US Air’s invoicing practice.
I can’t recommend.

This company never answers their phone and if you have a home warranty they will not give you any priority . I am so disappointed with AHS for proving this company that I will be cancelling my account with them too. I called for service on 6/9 the tech didn't come until 6/13 thought he had fixed the problem which he didn't now I have NO AC in my home, I called and left several messages, now they are saying they will not be out again until 6/18!!!! I might be dead by then will the heat here in SA. DON'T USE THIS COMPANY IF YOU HAVE A.H.S.

A-U.S. Air was assigned to my work order through my AHS warranty.
LOVED them.
Constant communication, were able to accommodate within 3 days of request, texted before arriving, arrived within specified window, asked me pertaining questions to system symptoms, and got straight to work and diagnosing. After checking unit outside, & verifying it w/ attic diagnosis, tech determined it was the evap coil, ordered, and gave me part turn around time.
Very pleased so far....keep up the good work! 😉

Well so far so good, I just spent the last 3 days in 100+ degree temps with NO A/C. If took the tech forever to get here but once he got here it didn't take him long to see what was wrong( a messed up wire on the unit outside)and fix it. The only thing that initially worried me was the first thing out of his mouth was "you ever think about replacing your unit" and started telling me about the monthly payments. Other than that, I'm beyond happy to have my AC working again. And thankfully it was something pretty simple as I was afraid since it was so late in the afternoon, that if he needed parts I might have been stuck another night praying I didn't get heat stroke.

Alex was professional and efficient. The unit is cooling again now. My only disappointment was having to wait so long for a tech to come!
Jeffrey came today and the unit is once again cooling! Though I had to wait 5 days for a tech to come, Jeffrey was polite, professional and made the necessary repair.

American Home Shield sent this company to service my AC. The first technician "cleaned" the coil and suggested I pay him under the table to cut a whole in the wall to blow out the drain. I didn't believe this was a good idea so I asked for another opinion. The next technician sent by AHS was also from this company and said the damage to my unit was caused by "someone improperly cleaning the unit." I mentioned that the last technician had cleaned the unit and he immediately back pedeled saying improper cleaning wasn't the cause. The technician then proceded to lie on the paperwork and to AHS, claiming he never told me that which resulted in AHS not covering the damages. This is a company of crooks; do not use them and if you have AHS in the San Marcos area beware because AHS will try to send them almost every time which i can only assume is because they are the cheapest in the area due to the low quality of technicians.

If I could put zero stars, I absolutely would. I urge anyone looking at this to please not even consider using this company. They came out several times always saying something else needed to be fixed and replaced. Not only do they have the worst customer service I have ever experienced, but they also cost my wife and I a ton of extra money. We don't make a lot so this was devastating to us. We had a reputable company come look after they came several times and found they installed unnecessary parts, improper installation and coolant. I do not ever write reviews , but I sincerely don't want anyone to go through what I have. Please find another company and don't trust this one.
