Our house had an older unit we were trying to keep alive and had scheduled a fall tune up. Danny arrived and walked me through what he would be doing. He was extremely professional and respectful, which is really important as the "face" or "frontline" of the company. He was very honest with the fact that our fan blower was on its last leg. Without any pressure, he asked if we would be interested in seeing what options they could provide.
That's when we had the pleasure of meeting Eric. From start to finish, our interaction with Eric was top notch. He does business the way it should be done. He was straight forward and clear with respect to their prices and what he could offer. He respectfully gave my wife and I a few minutes to talk things over. Again, no pressure in our experience. Simply an upfront conversation that helped us make the right decision. Install was quick and efficient. We are really happy with our new unit (inside and out). The company was great by even coming back today to reseal some of the lines running into the house. It's the little things that make working with a family owned business like this worth it! I would recommend them to any in the area!
I made an appointment for an AC tuneup with AirPros. Weah Johnson showed up on time, friendly, and went right to work. He identified a bad capacitor that needed replacing. Explained that the capacitor was currently working but on it’s last leg and putting the compressor at risk. He explained the problem in understandable terms and showed us exactly where the problem was with the old equipment. He immediately installed a new part and got us back up and running. I really feel like we are better off using AirPros because they identified a future problem that we can now avoid. Thank you Weah.

Today, 11-04-2021, Air Pros did a twice annual HVAC maintenance routine on my system. My tech was Jose Martinez, a very personable & knowledgeable young man. Jose checked & cleaned as needed all aspects of my system pertinent to keeping it running all winter in good condition. He changed out my self provided filter & checked several aspects such as cleanliness of the coil & blower motor, AMP draw on blower motor & compressor, static pressure & several others items that all make the system run efficiently. He discussed with me several topics from my past experiences that I mentioned & initiated estimates for those services should I choose to have Air Pros do them in the future. Jose is a very good technician & I will request him for future service on my HVAC system.

Aaron came out today to give us a quote on a new air conditioner unit. He was very courteous and answered all of my questions. He made sure I was comfortable with what he was putting in his quotes and did different quotes for different units.
I called Blue Star at 6:30pm because our AC stopped cooling and it was approaching 83 degrees in the house. A technician showed up at our house by 7:30 and had it cleaned and fixed by 8:15. Our technician Ron was the sweetest guy and took the time to explain to us what was going on and how to keep our unit clean. As a new homeowner I valued this attention and feedback. I will be requesting him for all future visits. Thanks Blue Star for cooling my house down tonight! I'm one happy member. :)
Review of service on 9/7/2019. Do not call these guys to your home unless you want nothing fixed and still end with a bill. I had Daniel (A/C. Tech ) at my father in laws house last evening. He arrived and got right to work 15 mins later he says the board went bad and then a few mins later says oops not the board the fuse switch went off so he reset it and said he thinks that fixed it. Then he checks everything else from the outside unit to the thermostat and after 1 hour he says the thermostat is bad it was activating the fan but not the cold air. He said we could buy a new one for $450 off his truck or go to home depot and buy the same brand we have for $25 and just replace the face plate / front of thermo stat and it would automatically start back up and we will have cold air. Well he left and we bought one 30 mins later and it never worked. We called their customer service this morning which I have on recording and they said they are sending a tech out between 8am-12am. At 11:40am I haven't gotten an eta or anything so I called them back and the guy says so sorry for the inconvenience but who ever is dispatching people to residential is making a mistake because techs don't do residential on Sundays. They never even called me back to tell me. All this time and its super hot not to mention my father and mother in law are in Their 70s and not A/C. He said again I'm sorry but we only respond to commercial and emergencies on Sunday. So Apparently the elderly in a house backing in the heat doesn't constitute to an emergency. Hhmmmm I will never let this company step foot in my families house again. They don't even seem like they care to make their mistake right.
Update to review: 9/8/2019. We had to call another company to finish the job this company couldn't fix or figure out. Turns out the thermo stat was not the issue at all and it was an electrical issue with the wire running from the unit in.the attic to the unit/compressor outside. The tech from stark heating and cooling did an amazing job and was up front and honest with us during the whole process. This was Sunday afternoon and their rates were better then blue star who accomplished nothing.
Update to review:/9/92019. Blue star customer care called back and asked about what happened and all they could say is I'm so sorry that's not typical blue star customer service and they would be passing this on to a supervisor. It was negligence on their techs part that caused my elderly parents to be in a house with 110 degree temps who are diabetics. If this company really cared they would have tried a little harder to fix this issue. At this point I think they should pay me back for my bill to stark since they sent a tech or completely diagnosed the wrong problem and just left before seeing if a new thermostat would really fix it.
New update: today is 10/04/2019. The owner of the business contacted me to apologise after reading my review. He seemed concerned with my review and how this could impact his company in the long end. He quotes how much a business can loose in profits with one negative review. I completely understand his eagerness to resolve the issue and don't blame the owner. The tech was responsible and he the company did tell me he was let go to his actions. The owner also asked what else he can do to help change my review and I stated he could cover some of the cost for having a second company come out and to compensate my mother and father in law for there worries. He agreed to send a check of $150.00 to compensate for the ordeal. I will update when it has arrived.
