SOS Mechanical

It's been 100 degrees here for weeks and when my AC started reving like a truck engine and shaking the bedroom wall I knew I needed help. SOS got someone out to look the same day and gave everything a good look. They were able to order a replacement blower motor and replace it the next day. I can't speak for the tech in the attic but I didn't even break a sweat.

After a power failure, my a/c unit's compressor got confused and started running backwards. Who knew that could happen? No fun having hot air pumped into my house when it's 100 degrees outside. Ugh! I called SOS Sunday night, and on Monday Allison assured me that Chris would be taking care of me in just a few hours. I appreciated receiving the text update when Chris was on his way.

After experiencing multiple coil failures in my 10 year old York AC system, I called SOS for a diagnosis on my failing unit. Chris, the service tech, diagnosed another coil failure. It was time to step up to the BEST Trane system. Allison met with me the same day and provided detailed information about Trane systems available. On installation day, Hector and Manuel reworked the ductwork in my home and installed a new Trane variable unit. Chris and Connor assisted the installation team . I've dealt with multiple mediocre AC repair services over the years but SOS is, hands down, the best service in central Texas!!

We just had a variable speed Trane system installed and I am very impressed with the professionalism, competence and efficiency of SOS' processes. Sometimes, it seems that companies are more concerned with just pushing a product rather than following a process. Allison and her team were much more concerned with doing the job right the first time and making sure that it did what we expected without any do-overs. Connor did a great job. He was very conscientious and diligent. He cleaned up after the work and discussed what was done and helped verify that the modifications were working properly. He communicated effectively with us during the work.

They response time was wonderful, the workers were friendly, and they left my home very clean. They were also quick! The fact that they cared about me and my comfort was truly a blessing. I would highly recommend them to anybody who needed air-conditioning work done in their home.

Initially was told they could come out Monday, before the phone call was over, was told they could squeeze us in Friday at 8 am. Received a call about an hour later saying they would have a technician within 30 minutes. Appreciated the great communication and fast response!! Will use company again for future A/C problems.
