I agree with a previous post and hate to give them even 1 star. I bought a brand new DR Horton home in 2015. Our expansion tank fitting cracked on our water heater spewing water all over our garage. We called their emergency number and was told that they would charge us $150 for the first 30 minutes of the service call and an additional $1.65 per minute for them to fix it...it's a $3 part...they installed the product, gave a warranty for the product, has a HUGE contract with DR Horton, and you charge an enormous amount of to fix an issue created by...your installation? I would NOT recommend his company as honorable or the quality of their products. Choose a different company when you build your home. I will be contacting my builder.

I won't be calling Christianson anymore.

I moved into my new home about a year ago and recently noticed that our upstairs was about 8-10 degrees warmer than the downstairs. I did some research online and came to the conclusion that the upstairs damper was stuck closed and perhaps even the downstairs damper was stuck open.

The first technician that they sent out "forced open" the closed upstairs damper but it didn't seem to help at all and all he said was "your house is too big and there are too many registers". That doesn't explain no air coming out upstairs and a lot of air coming out downstairs.

Finally, the second tech came out to replace the dampers and motors. While testing to ensure that the dampers were opening and closing properly, I mentioned to him multiple times that the amount of air coming out of the registers downstairs didn't seem right now. It was basically the opposite of my previous problem. He just puts his hand in front of the register and says "it's fine" and again with the "your house is too big" argument and rushes out.

I had some people over a couple of days later and the temperature downstairs starts crawling up... 78, 79, 80, 81... and people are complaining. I decided to give them a call again to check out what's going on. Before the scheduled appointment I had a friend who works in HVAC come out and assess the situation. He mentions that it's probably a combination of leaks and the downstairs damper stuck even though it was just replaced. He helps me by patching some of the leaks and said it may help a little but that I should have them come correct the work from the previous service.

The same tech from the second time came out and I told him what was going on. He immediately comes back and says "did you put some sealant around the damper motors?" and I said I had a friend over who sealed up some leaks. Immediately he rolls his eyes at me and says "that's why it's not working". I reply with "No, it wasn't working before that". He removes some of the sealant that was applied and after checking the registers, there's still no air coming out. After a back a forth he decides to go out and get some more equipment to see what's going on. I decide to go up in the attic with him because I know that's not what the problem was. I just stand there and watch him fidgiting with the damper motor wires connected to the control panel and what do you know... It starts working...

Finally after 3 weeks it's all back to normal.

Your techs really need to stop acting like they know everything and start listening to customers. I asked for a different tech the third time and they sent the same one. Good luck with your business, but I won't be reaching out for help from you again.

I called them to replace the capacitor because AC was not cooling. They said it would be about $100 (service charge + labor) but that the part was still covered under the 5 year warranty. When the AC tech arrived he said he didn't have the warrantied part with him and I had to pay $130 for an upgraded capacitor or wait a day for them to order the original capacitor. A little honesty up front would go a long way.

We have been using Christianson for A/C maintenance for years, this year however 3 weeks after having our routine maintenance completed (and we were warned the coil had a leak) the coil went out. We were due to go on vacation the next day and we couldn't leave the dogs and dog sitter in the heat of a none A/C house for 2 weeks! They were able to get a person out to confirm the coil was bad, initially telling me it would be 4 days before they could get it repaired (it was 4th of July weekend!). Not 5 min. after the service man left, a crew called and said they had finished early and even though it was Friday, they had time to come out and do the repairs! So thankful for those guys being willing to work one more job so we could go on vacation at ease, knowing our critters would be ok in the Texas heat! Thank you!

Had my maintenace done on our HVAc system and discovered we needed a new blower. It was done professionally, on time and by an expert. Had a clogged drain and they also came out to fix that. We have been very please with Christianson's service and will continue to use them.

If you find a reliable, honest HVAC company, stick with them. Christianson is one of those companies, and I won't call anyone else for service or repairs. When our AC went out in the middle of the summer (and I was 8 months pregnant), they managed to get a whole new system installed within 24 hours - and at a very competitive price. They always send the same tech to do service calls, so you get someone who knows your system, and who you can trust. I highly recommend this company for all your HVAC needs.

Delivery was so smooth! Great care was taken to ensure both the safety of the delivery staff and the safety of the sideboard we ordered. And the customer service was so positive and upbeat. I'd do it again in a heartbeat!

Company is highly professional on time and knowledgeable. Highly recommended. Also, I wish I could give double the 5 stars to Mr. Chad. He was on time, eager to get started and answered all my questions. His work is top notch and has always been since he has been servicing our machines. I highly recommend him for any HVAC needs and I would like his superiors to take note an acknowledge superior job performance. Thank you for your service, Mr. Chad!!

New!!! I have been using Christianson's HVAC and Plumbing for many years as a CAMP member. I have found their professionalism to be second to none. The techs always call before they depart to my residence for the appointment. . They are well - trained and will answer any customer questions as best they can. Recently I had the pleasure to receive Jose Chavez as my new assigned tech. Jose was courteous, friendly, and helpful. I highly recommend him as an HVAC technician. Thank you, Christianson's for 5 star service and more!!!

I cannot be happier with the emergency phone support provided by Curt (sp?) this morning. Our home air conditioner was not working properly and Curt stepped me through a troubleshooting process that determined the capacitor probably needed to be replaced. I went to a local air conditioner repair shop with my old part and was able to replace it, saving a service call and getting the house back to normal. THANK YOU for the excellent phone support!

Jordan was very professional. Did the check up as expected from an expert, explaining key points to me. Found no issues and called it as it is. Did not try to "upsell" anything. This is a good first experience for me with Christianson.
