Energy Attic

Energy Attic has done a fabulous job from start to finish. The sales guy was friendly, informative and made a couple recommendations but wasn't pushy or pressured. He did his best to make the price competitive. We have 2600 sq ft house of which about 2200 is accessible in the attic. We only had at best 6" of blown insulation remaining from when the house was built and most of that was packed down. They added a very generous 12" over the entire attic, taking great detail to ensure it was evenly covered everywhere. The guys took time to clean up and blow out excess insulation out of the garage that had fallen down. Total cost out the door was $2000. I highly recommend them.

I went with Energy Attic based on reviews. I had a large house that had 20 year old insulation removed, replaced with their blown in and radiant barrier. At the beginning the salesman was great. The product was great as well. Energy bills were greatly reduced. The problems I had were with the office and install. Two holes were placed, one in the ceiling in the living room and another in the side of the wall in the living room. Unfortunately for them, those two places are very visible and patching just never hides it. You could see it every time you walk in. The texture is different. But accidents happen, I know it wasn't with bad intent. The biggest problem I had still follows me today. I did their 0% interest for 12 months. I never received a bill for 3 months. During that 3 months I contact the office multiple times asking about it. They assured sometimes it takes a while. GreenSky informed me that Energy Attic had submitted my SSN, which i provided for the credit, but had submitted it with their address and contact number. It took three months to figure this out. GreenSky wouldn't let me make a payment. Long story short during that time I had 3 hits on my credit. My credit since I was 18 is perfect with not a single hit. This is the only thing on my credit history. We are over a year removed and nothing has been done and most likely nothing will. Product was good. I would never deal with them again because of their customer service. I can get the same product somewhere else without the problems following me for 3 years. Terrible on them.

Energy Attic is one of the most professional companies I have had the pleasure of allowing into my home. They are always punctual, quick to complete the job and never leave behind a mess. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for help on getting their electricity bills lower.

A professional representative came to my home looked at the problem, listened to my needs and was helpful in answering all my question honestly. Chose to contract with them as they will be able to remove the dusty old insulation and replace it with a dust free product. The project should only take I day to complete. I called them they came out the same day to look at the job and to give me a quote. I was so pleased that they are able to do exactly what I’m looking for to get done in my attic. The price was in line with the job being done. I will follow up on my review after installation next week.

Colin from Energy Attic came today to do a review of our current attic situation and made some great suggestions for how we can improve energy efficiency and air flow to certain rooms. Colin was through and explained all of our options, and followed up with a written estimate. Have not yet decided if we will be taking advantage of their suggested work but I felt that he did a good job in describing the issues and possible solutions.

It's rare these days to work with a company as professional, courteous and punctual as Energy Attic but that is exactly the experience my family has had in working with them. Honest, hard working people. Our tech Seth was extremely knowledgeable and quick to help my father up after he fell while seth was here (which isnt part of his job obviously but he went out of his way to help us out). It was a true sign of an amazing company. He was truly treasured at our house that day. After all that, he still was able to perform a perfect job of insulating our attic. Our house is a fridge now. The attic had old disgusting insulation from when the house was built so it was quite a job and not once did I hear him complain or even look like he was slowing down. It was absolutely a perfect job and now my house is ten times cooler. I'll be recommending this company and Seth in particular forever.

Insulation installed as scheduled. Work was does done quickly and cleanly. Team was well supervised and enthusiastic.

I also appreciated the recommendation for a solar attic fan. Installation was quick, and the old attic fan was moved to a spot on the roof that previously had no extra ventilation.
