My AC fan stopped working earlier today. Since the AC was more than 10 years old, I assumed it was time to replace it. I started looking
for repair companies and called friends for referrals. One of my friends highly referred Dipson. I called and he said he was in the area and would come over as soon as he’s done with a service call. He came as promised, checked my AC and told me it was still good. The fan motor just needed to be replaced. After installing the new motor, he cleaned the inner and outer coils thoroughly before putting the fan assembly back on. He also checked the freon level. Then, he tested and inspected the AC to make sure it was running ok. He (and his assistant) also cleaned up the area they worked on. Even though he had another service call, he was in no rush and even spent a few minutes to give me some advice and info about my AC. He also charged me a very reasonable price. These guys were courteous, informative, efficient, professional, practical, reasonably-priced and do not waste time. No rush job, no sales pitch. Dipson will be my HVAC guy from now on.

We've used Dipson several times now for our various AC needs. He is always extremely professional, very knowledgeable, and offers the best/most cost efficient solutions for our situation. After using different AC repair companies throughout the years I believe Dipson offers the most honest opinion on how to fix your problem without trying to up sale you for unnecessary repairs. I would highly recommend him to anyone for their AC/Heater needs.

Been using Dipson and his crew for my residential and commercial business for the past decade. You will not find a more dedicated and knowledgeable company with very competitive pricing. They will break down the information to you in a lingo that is easily digestible to regular consumers. They always show up on time at the scheduled appointment and they are extremely responsive for any inquiries. Highly recommend if you're looking for long term AC services from a reputable and local company that has decades of experience under their belt.

Dipson is one of the most professional company that we've came across in HVAC industry. Dipson Dam goes above and beyond with the installation of our new Trane 5-ton A/C unit, always shows up on time as promised, the job is done efficiently and professionally without any delays. Great value and service, I'll recommend Dipson Air Conditioning to anyone with HVAC needs.

The only reason this company is receiving a star at all is because it’s forced in order to leave a review. I would absolutely NOT recommend this company, and would in fact warn against using Dipson or anyone he contracts your business out to.

My landlord contacted Dipson to replace my air conditioning unit and set it up as an emergency, so Dipson kindly offered to have his contractors replace it that night. However, the install was set to start at 9pm and Dipson stated that it would take about 5 hours to complete. As a single mother of 2 young children, I informed Dipson that I would need to reschedule as I didn’t feel safe having 2 unfamiliar men inside my home that late. He seemed fine with that and we initially rescheduled for Friday. However, I received a message from Dipson requesting to reschedule for 2-4pm today.

Unfortunately his employees were postponed, which is understandable as unexpected delays happen. However, I was in no way notified of the change in schedule until 2 unfamiliar men in an unmarked white van and without any kind of distinguishable uniforms showed up unannounced to my home at 8:30pm. The men informed me that I didn’t need to be in the house and stated, “it’s not like we’re going to steal your stuff”, to which I again asked to reschedule due to feeling unsafe. I was told it would be awhile to get back on their books, so I should just let them do it now. I was very uncomfortable with the entire situation at this point, so I requested identification from the men. In response, the men refused to identify themselves verbally or with badges or ID cards, became hostile, slammed the doors, and started to drive away after accelerating the van toward me as if to run me over. Is it really that audacious that I want to know who is in my home as there was literally nothing identifying them even as AC repairmen, much less the ones who were supposed to be present 5 hours prior?

Apparently Dipson thought so because a few minutes later I received a call from him. He asked several accusatory questions and spoke over me as I was trying to explain to him what I had just experienced. He justified the men’s hostility because they had been working in the heat all day and then claimed that it was rude and irrational to expect that these men identify themselves or even the company they work for. Instead of listening to my valid concerns about their unprofessional nature and my fear for personal safety, Dipson tried to bully me, literally laughing at my complaint, calling me the hostile one, and defending the behavior of these men. He then refused to identify himself or his company by full name, or those of the men who came to my house.

Furthermore, Dipson’s business Facebook account makes it appear that he does in fact mark his vehicles, or at least one of them. So after voicing my safety concerns, why would he send an unmarked van inside a timeframe that I had already said was inappropriate for my situation and without even a text or phone call to explain and/or confirm? Either he has zero respect for the concerns of his customers or he for some reason didn’t want his work to be identifiable.

Also, displaying the name of the air conditioning company as well as the tdl number is mandatory in the state of Texas. If Dipson so readily disregards these state regulations that protect the community he serves, what other regulations does he cast aside? In what other ways will he cut corners?

So in short: BUYER BEWARE!!!
