My daughters air went out in the hottest part of this summer and we recommended she use this company. She was very pleased with the excellent service, quick response, and very competitive cost. Nutex Mechanical was assigned to service a plumbing issue by my home warranty company. Our technician Luis called to let us know he was on his way, and when he arrived he was polite, professional and explained everything that needed to be done. He came during the Covid-19 pandemic and he was sensitive to safety concerns, which we appreciated. Our service was home warranty covered - but I will calling them for any non covered items and definitely requesting them for any covered items when possible. We were very happy with our service received and happy to have gotten a follow up call a few days later to make sure everything was still running great.
They spent 15 minutes in my house diagnosing a leak in my hot water heater that was non existent. The code on the hot water heater said bad gas valve but after 15 minutes, I all of a sudden need a new hot water heater that magically costs the same amount that my supplemental home warranty covers. I asked for a new technician to come out to get a better second opinion but instead I was just supplied with the poorly written notes of the first technician. I'd go elsewhere for a plumber unless you're looking to cheat the system with bad quality. By the way, your home warranty only covers around half the cost so you're stuck with half the bill either way. Go the better way with a name brand company that has a better resume.
Incredible and timely service during a cold snap from an arctic front. Techs were good to work with, and very knowledgeable and thorough. Price and response time was better than expected. The AC/heat guy that installed my unit wouldn't even make time to look at my system, even thoughhe drives in front of my house 3-4 times a day. NUTEX came out same day to diagnose.

Receptionist Celeste is incompetent. I initiated the service on Monday. Explained no less than 3 times what my issue was. My appointment time came (on Friday), no technician. I called and she says he had an emergency. Had to reschedule. She sent out a technician who was not equipped to handle the issue, having told him incorrectly. Technician said he would have her call me to fix the issue... No surprise, she did not! Now I'll be without the use of my kitchen for over a week thanks to her incompetence. Save your time and sanity. Get someone else.
Unsafe driver. As I was coming over 56 on 1417 heading south,he was entering from on ramp with a yield sign. Even with me honking my horn, he wouldn't yield right of way. I He just continued on the shoulder expecting me to yeild! NO ! Slowdown, know the traffic rules. Company van, hope you have good insurance!
I made an appointment with NuTex Mechanical during the terrible snow storms the week of February 15, 2021. I needed help with frozen pipes. I explained that I was disabled and alone in the home without water. Brittany booked my appointment for Sat 2/20/21, after my pipes already defrosted on their own. On 2/20/21, I spoke with Kurt, a NuTex Master Plumber. I explained that I needed my pipes inspected, plumber's heating tape installed to prevent freezing, and a recirculating pump installed. He provided an estimate and said that the $85 initial visit fee would be applied towards the final cost of the installation. Kurt told me that I cold ask for him when I scheduled the work with his office. In the days following. I had to call numerous times and leave messages requesting the work and to be placed on his schedule. I didn't receive a returned call and I wasn't placed on Kurt's schedule. Brittany, the office scheduler, refused to schedule me with Kurt and instead, she scheduled me with Ryan. I waited for Ryan for the entire 6-hour window stated. During the wait, I called left messages with concerns that Ryan wasn't going to show. I was right. He never showed. I left another polite message asking why no one came and no one contacted me. I never received a returned call. I called again hoping to reach someone other than Brittany. Again, I wasn't able to speak to anyone but Brittany and again she refused to schedule me with Kurt. Instead, I was assigned a third plumber who was new to the organization. When the plumber came on Wed 3/3/21, he did not know what plumber's heating tape was or how to install it but I was still charged $85. This is the EXACTLY what I was trying to avoid by requesting Kurt. Kurt knew what heating tape was and said that he could install it after he inspected my pipes and determined where to place it. When the plumber left on 3/3/21, he said he would order a recirculating pump and that Brittany would schedule his return. To no surprise, Brittany did NOT call and did NOT schedule the installation of the pump. It was not until Monday, 3/8/20, that I reached Brittany and she scheduled the install. Once the pump was installed, on 3/9/21, I was charged, unaware for the cost without the $85 deduction that was already paid and was promised to be applied towards the install. The plumber sent a written note to Brittany to refund the $85 because of the error. I should have been charged less the $85. He wrote it in the invoice, showed me, and sent it to the office. Today, Brittany refused to apply the refund. I asked to speak to her Supervisor but she refused to put anyone else on the phone. I had only pursued NuTex's business because of the professional discussion with Kurt. He seemed like a straight shooter. I sent an email to NuTex about the situation. Brittany intercepted the message and called to say she would not honor the refund. Brittany really made my experience with NuTex a horror. I would NOT recommend this company due to the lack of professionalism and respect extended to me throughout the entire process. I did not receive any warranty or even the pump paperwork. I did not see that the part installed was new. Typically, the consumer is given warranty information and instructions with the product. This was a terrible experience!!!
I have used NUTEX Mechanical for both plumbing and HVAC work on the two homes I own. I have found this company to be customer friendly and professional in their work performance. I was fully informed as to work needed and given options to address those issues. The work area was cleaned after work was done and I received a follow up contact to make sure everything was working properly.
Needed a new outlet installed. The price was well below many estimates i received. i will definitely be a returning customer. thank you for the great service.
