I've used Total Heat and Air for many years. They are not the cheapest HVAC company in the area, but they provide service and equipment that FAR exceeds others that I used prior to discovering Total Heat and Air. The technician that came out was on time, polite and knowledgeable.

I never leave reviews, in fact this is the first one I have ever left - but I had such an amazing experience that I am going out of my way to sing all the praises of this company.

I just have to let you know that you have one of the best techs in the world. Today was extremely difficult having just moved from Ohio with our 5month old the day before and losing a/c in the middle of a heatwave while trying to unpack and everything.

Troy was extremely easy going and personable. He explained everything to my husband so we could understand the problem and how to address it in the future.

I am sure he could tell I was stressed by all of the things going on in our house today but he was so incredibly sweet and brought tears to my eyes when he wished us the best on our new adventure in Texas.

He is one of the good ones and you are so lucky to have such a great guy working for you.

And even more so, we called the emergency line bc the ac went out in the evening and although the on call tech (mark I believe) couldn’t get out to us as he was already booked up - he tried to troubleshoot with me on the phone to try to help.

This company is amazing and has incredible people working for them. You will not regret choosing this company.

Professional HVAC Service ABOVE and BEYOND Expectations

Total Air & Heat completely exceeded all my expectations in a very positive way. After getting bids from four different companies, Total's bid was the most comprehensive and professional proposal, at competitive prices, for a new Trane AC System (Condensor, Coil, Plenum, Duct work, etc.). From the sales engagement process with Chad, to the installation and service delivery of Arturo, and the courteousness and attention to detail of Abel and Alex, this was a great experience from start to finish. The installation team worked all day, non-stop to finish the large project on time and walked me through the entire installation, maintenance requirements, and warranty paperwork answering all of my questions. If you are in the DFW area, get a bid from Chad at Total Air & Heat. You will not be disappointed.

Great communication and fast service. Out of the 8 companies I called this is the only one that came out and looked at our entire system before quoting.

I have been a T.A.&H customer for 34 years, since founder Fred was going out on calls. He came to check my home's suitability for conversion to gas as a gas line was being laid on the street many years ago. Having a tech come out every 6 months, especially here in Texas, give me confidence in their thoroughness and honesty. I also have security knowing that I will not be left in the heat or the cold. Michael brought his trainee Trent out yesterday; it was good to see the next generation stepping in.

The technicals are helpful and professional. They explain all they're doing. A great business to use.

Although we had some complications throughout the process, the addition of a new 3 ton unit to accompany the existing 5 ton unit, running new ductwork, removing/disconnecting old ductwork, repairing existing ductwork and adding insulation as well as two new thermostats all while dealing with tight attic space as well as crawl space work being required, Total Air stood by us until all was in good working order.

I was impressed that we were able to get a same day diagnostic appointment. They quickly identified the problem and were able to arrange for a sales call the same day. No pressure sales. They were able to install the new furnace and a/c within a week. Everyone was professional and friendly. They were thorough in going over the new unit after install. Price and service excellent and would recommend/use them in the future!
