David -- the president of Efficient Home Solutions -- gave me an estimate to replace our old AC unit and coil. WOW. I learned so much about heating and cooling. Most companies come in and only tell me what I need fixed and I am forced to trust them on the spot. David made sure that I understood WHY I need certain things fixed. For example, based on standard HVAC sizing requirements... I need a 5-ton AC unit. My house has a 4-ton and that is one reason the master bedroom is always so hot. I also learned that HVAC systems need air to return to the system. My house does not have enough ducts to return the air to my current system. (I didn't even know that was a thing and no one has ever tried to educate me on this.) My electricity bill has been insanely high and now I see why! It all makes sense and I know when the old unit is replaced my electricity bill is going to drop dramatically. We came home to 2 AC units that were dead. We called a couple of companies for quotes but just did not get a good feeling. I called EHS at 8pm to set an appointment for the next day. A live person answered the phone and said "we have someone close finishing a job, he will be there soon". At 9pm Michael O showed up. He looked, listened, and gave us a quote that we though was fair. We confirmed the deal the following morning. By the end of that day the units were installed...BUT...in the process something slid off the plywood in the attic and we now had a hole in our ceiling 25 feet above the floor. The installer said he would take care of it. I was skeptical but tired and happy to have working air so I just said OK. The following day we got a call from a repair man, he came out and fixed the hole. The paint gut came out and painted. The next morning you could tell the paint was a different color. We called Michael, he said "I will take care of it". The next day a painter came out and painted the entire ceiling so the repair was invisible.
The company took great care of our new AC units, but even more impressive was the way that they took care of things when something went wrong. Fantastic service by Michael O and the rest of his team.

All have been honest, prompt and hassle-free. Today I called in to get my pre-summer check scheduled only to find I was no longer in a service area. I have to say I'm pretty bummed, no I have to dig around to find someone reputable servicing our area. It was good while it lasted
For the last 45 days we have been down to one air conditioner cooling the downstairs of our two story home in Allen, Texas. During the recent 100 degree heat wave my teenage girls have been sleeping on the couch and love seat as upstairs temperatures averaged 88 -90 degrees F. When our down stairs unit’s compressor went out two days ago - I knew I couldn’t afford to get the work done and would be persona nongarata with the family. The first night was just awful and I was bracing for the worse. On night two, I called David Rivera who attends my church. I explained my lack of funds and asked him to see what he could do for budgeting purposes only. That night we made a styrofoam AC unit based on YouTube video. It was a great distraction and we took turns lying in front of it until the ice melted two hours later. Thankfully, Dave had gone to work locating a used 4 ton compressor. By 9:30 am his team was on the job and the downstairs was cool by 11:30 am. As an encore performance Dave’s team changed out a valve that was clogged and the downstairs unit started right up. On a previous inspection a different company didn’t want to attempt this and said it was better just to replace the coil for an arm and a leg. Dave’s team got both units up and running for a fraction of the price I was expecting and provided me with financing. Words can’t express how grateful we are to David Rivera and his team at Efficient Home Solutions. They really came through for us!
I had an energy efficiency inspection and they arrived on time and were very knowledgeable. They gave me great advice on how to save energy and get the most from my heating and air conditioning. They did not recommend any expensive services, just honest advice. I will be using them going forward.
Three ducts were not blowing air and multiple people have looked at it before and couldn't figure out. EHS send two guys who were real experts and they quickly figured out a misconfiguration done during installation and fixed the air flow. I will definitely be going back to them if any other issues arise. I recommend their business based on their expertise with Lennox systems.
Efficient Home Solutions was the saving grace for our home in this hot summer! This was the first summer in our new house and we learned not only that the AC unit and furnace were too small but also that the original owners made a garage conversion that wasn’t fully connected to the HVAC system! David made recommendations to put in additional ducting/venting that has made a world of difference to air circulation and helped us pick AC/furnaces that were both efficient and didn’t break the bank. The house now feels like a fridge for half the electric cost!! Thanks David and EHS team!

They spent time to educate me on the problem I was having with my system and gave me the different options I could take to fix the issue. They had my unit fixed in no time and it runs better than before. I even received a phone call from the owner asking how my service was. I love the fact that the owner cares what I think of their service as most companies don't seem to care. I would highly recommend EHS for anyone needing repair work without high pressure or bait and switch tactics.
