Tech called saying he would be there in 30-45 minutes. Showed up 2 hours later. Quoted fixing clog and broken clean out plug. Ran snake for 1 hour, then sat in truck for 3 hours, said he couldn't fix and gave quote of 12,000 dollars. Said he should have charged 800 but charged 450. Did not fix broken clean out plug. Called customer service and was told supervisor would call me back. 3 days later (business days) still no call. Cutting ties with this company. Will never use again. Technician's name was William and the company even admitted they had received prior complaints about this tech sitting in his truck for hours. Found a great plumber that will do it for 1/5 the cost and showed up when said they would.

Tyler was very professional and personable. He quickly diagnosed my variable speed blower motor was bad and also checked the entire A/C system to make sure nothing else was in error or about to cause future problems. Quickly replaced the bad unit and got my A/C running perfect.

However, Upon receiving receipt, an "itemized bill" was not that. It simply listed the part and the final price. Upon asking for a detailed receipt for parts and labor, this was the response-
"Our Service software just gives us flat rate pricing it doesn't base prices on labor and material. We just put in what we are doing to find the price."
So nearly $3,000 for a variable speed blower motor (ranges from from $200-800 on Grainger) and 3 hours including diagnosis, service fee, part number locating and item pickup and removal/install....
I did appreciate the service, and nothing against the service member who performed the work-but EVERYONE I explained to about the part and work and price agrees-that is a VERY overly expensive deal. Buyers remorse.

Tyler was my tech, he was super informative, very polite, professional and pleasant to deal with. He explained the root cause of the failure with my AC unit and explained in full detail how to maintain my system. I’ve used another company in the past and the service was no way close to this standard. Thank you personally because an AC going out in Texas during the summer can be difficult. Tyler is an all star.

Once again they went above and beyond in getting my AC cooling! They were prompt, courteous, very knowledgeable and reasonably priced getting my heat pump up and 🏃‍♀️ again. One guy, sorry forgot his name, came back a second time on his way home and worked til way past dark. I appreciated that when I know he had already had a full day.

Our AC went out while it was 100 degrees outside and we were out running errands. By the time we got home it was 87 in our house when it was supposed to be 71. I had called 9 other places before I got to AC Hero. The lady who answered was incredibly nice and was extremely sympathetic to my situation. She made sure to let me know that she couldn’t give a specific time due to different situations needing different amounts of time but that they would absolutely be there before the evening. She also notified me that they would be giving a 30 min call when close. I got that call less than an hour later and he arrived within 25 mins of the call. I had thought that only one of our units was broken but as soon as he walked up to the units, he diagnosed the problem and called to get the associated parts. Both of our units had failed. In 30 minutes he gave us an update and 15 after that our main unit was fixed. Our secondary unit would’ve been right behind it if he had the part but because he knew the problem he had called ahead to get the part enroute while he worked on the other. He was cordial and efficient and in about 1.5 hours he had AC again.

I absolutely will be using AC Hero again if we ever need heating or air work again!

Management addressed all my concerns in a timely manner and I will use AC Heros for any HVAC service I may need in the future.
