Aire Serv Heating & Air Conditioning

Richard had to come to my house twice for the same unit. The first time was an issue with unit it self. He fixed it fast and explained everything he did. The next time was issue with my thermostat. Jen was the dispatcher and she was very friendly and kept me in the loop about my technician status. Thank yall for everything!

Air Serv installed my HVAC unit a little over 3 years ago and I've been very happy with its performance. It keeps up in the hot Midland summer months without issues. During the recently very cold days in Midland, I observed the heater wasn't keeping up. The fan would run, but the house temperature never reached setpoint during the night, and I would wake up to the house being 7-10 degrees cooler than desired. I called Air Serv and they sent out a technician the same day, even earlier than they estimated. Brandon was able to diagnose the issue right away. It turned out to be a wiring issue. I was so impressed how quickly Brandon was able to identify the problem. I thought it was weird that the unit hadn't had issues previous winters, but then again, the unit never had to work as hard as it has this winter, so it never had to go to stage 2 of air flow, which is what evidently revealed the wiring issue. Brandon explained that even if you have a 2 speed fan, it is only supposed to run at low speed when heating. The good news is that now my unit heats as expected. I'm not certain that all the technicians at Air Serv are as savvy as Brandon, but am grateful that he was sent to solve my problem. I'm very glad I also have a maintenance agreement with Air Serv for seasonal checkups to keep the unit in good working order, and so far I haven't had to have any parts replaced.

Their quotes are low, until you will have to replace your entire system piece by piece after they install it. 4 years after Aireserv installs my unit and I'm still having issues. They installed (3.5 ton air unit with heat pump) in summer of 2016 and couldn't get the house below 80 degrees. They blew in attic insulation and it reached 75 degrees. 6 months later winter hits. The heater does not work. Aire serv technician comes out and curses Jeremiah and the company. He "fixes" my heat, replaces my wifi thermostat with a normal one because the unit is not compatible with the wifi thermostat, and leaves. One month later, I receive my electricity bill $800. Aireserv technician comes out and says it is running off aux heat because I do not have a unit with a heat pump in it. I paid for a unit with a heat pump. I gather all documentation present it to the office staff and threaten to sue. They tell me "go ahead". I do not have the funds to take them to court, and my unit is still not functioning properly. I save $3500 to purchase a unit with a heat pump and have another company install it. Three years later and my fan stops blowing last night. The furnace installed by Aireserv appears to be a rebuilt unit ( i paid for a new one). The wiring was so poorly done that it has shorted the fan relay and caused the sequencers in the heat strips to wear out. So once again, I am replacing another piece to the system thanks to Aireserv and their poor quality. At this point I will have replaced everything installed except the ductwork.

Not very good service, spoke to lady on the phone and painted a pretty picture of what would be in the price. Tech came out and was in and out in 5 minutes. Had someone else come and do the same job and they showed me step by step and help me fix my AC. Poor service from the tech would never use them again.

Worst HVAC company in the basin. You’re better off calling your blind neighbor to help…
