Nova Air LLC

I called Nova Air in McKinney because my AC wasn’t cooling the house according to the thermostat. Guy came out and said I had a major leak and in need of a new coil and condenser which would cost $7k. He said that just to add the refrigerant it would cost $700 due to shortage. I still had warranty on the unit however nova air only use American Standard parts and have another brand. I called another company, they came out and after doing a thorough check said I didn’t have a leak, they cleaned my coil and said I didn’t need to replace my unit. They added refrigerant and my air conditioner is back to working great. I am all for businesses being able to pay their employees and bills but I am against businesses trying to rip off hard working consumers especially in the current state of the economy.

Had a Freon leak in my unit. Came out the same day. Got the job done quickly and efficiently at a reasonable price. Would highly recommend to anyone, and I will definitely keep using Nova.

I scheduled service between 6 & 8 pm. Some guy called me at work at 4pm and said he was on the way. I told him I couldn't meet him until our scheduled time. He asked me to hurry home. I did and he didn't arrive until 6:30. I left work early for nothing. When he examined my AC unit he showed me that he "tested" my heating wires and said my heater was broken. He did not offer to help me fix my AC problem or to come back and help me. All he wanted to do was take advantage of me and try to sell me another AC unit. I had another company come out the next morning and they fixed my AC unit in a matter of minutes. My heater was not broken at all. He lied to me and only tried to make money off of my misfortune and let me and my family without AC service when it was over 100 degrees. BUYER BEWARE!!! Scam artist only interested in making money.

8/14/2019 my AC died after 17 years of Texas heat. I had the old R22 unit. I first called one the big name company's that you hear on the radio to just come out and check it out.I waited from 7:00am till 2pm with no call back for when they be able to make it. I know it was the Hottest day of the year but, if you say yes I can get you service today I would at least like a call to say when or a ballpark so i am not sitting in a hot house all day. After searching on the phone for other companys and worring how bad the damage would be. My facebook rolled up a ad for Nova Air Local here in Mesquite with a price on a new unit listed for around the size unit i would need. I had a bad feeling my compressor went out this time and wanted to have a idea of what to expect. Being a single income home. I also had did some price search for the Buy it online and well connect you with a guy to install. But who knows when right?.These guys came within 30 mins of my call. They gave me 4 quotas of fixing the old unit. replacing the outside unit only, and 2 different size full packages that all would do the job fine. I tell you they beat the buy it online store price and with a way better quality unit for the price. No worries on when. They were able to install next day in a day. They showed up when they said they would. They kept the house clean. the work was clean. It even looked to me like they replaced the old power box on the outside for the outside unit. I feel Like I got a very good price, and would highly recommend these guys to anyone in need of a great service provider in my home town mesquite.

Have been using this company for HVAC service and maintenance since past 3+ years. Had a heater issue right after they serviced and they came the day after and gave a temp fix to heating which did not last long enough and as soon as I paid my service fee they stopped responding to my calls. Will not recommending them for reliability.

Iram with Nova Air showed up, assessed the problem which was a primary drain clog and he unclogged the line and I have air blowing again. He was nice and respectable. I was so appreciative because I was told I would have to cut the shower wall to do this and that was not the case. I 100% recommend Nova Air and folks I usually don't leave a review but to have air again, reasonably priced, I just had to.

I highly recommend these guys! I had an emergency on thie hottest day this year so far and they came within 1 1/2 hours and fixed it and fixed other issues for me! I loved them so much that I even signed up for their service plan! Strongly recommend and if I could give more than 5 stars I would! Thank you Nova!

Five Stars!!!! When I say this company deserves all 5 stars plus some I mean exactly that.
I'd been searching for a company to replace my entire air conditioning system and almost given up due to the outrages prices and the unclearness of what exactly they were charging all the "extra" fees for. Well, the Lord guided my attention to this company as I was scrolling through my Facebook page. I gave them a call and without hesitation Mr. Sal immediately said he could come out on the same day to provide me a quote. Did I mention the quote was FREE? Yep, absolutely free with no obligations to purchase.
Approximately a week later I'd come up with most of the money for purchase. I contacted Mr. Sal and asked if he would be willing to give me an additional percent off if I paid in full. He agreed and a date/time was scheduled. They contacted me prior to arrival and they arrived punctual. My doorbell was having some difficulties and instead of just leaving Mr. Sal sent me a text to let me know the Tech was outside waiting. The Tech introduced himself and immediately began setting up.
I inquired about relocating my outside unit and they explained my options to me. Without further ado, they moved the unit without any additional fees attached (an extra incentive which I truly am grateful). I was given an estimated time of completion between 4-5 hours and that included clean up. Yep, they even cleaned up everything without a sight of any work had been done. Saying these guys are great is an understatement; they were phenomenal!!!!
If you are looking for GREAT work, GREAT system, GREAT communication, and GREAT prices there's no need to look any further :)

BTW: I've already recommended them to another family who will be calling them for their service.

Side Note: If you want your air ducts cleaned they work with another company they can refer you to.

Its my pleasure to write something about nova air conditioning. I changed the complete HVAC system last year. Last week for an unknown reason, the compressor was not working. I texted them, they came within an hour. Found out that the compressor stopped working. They told me that they were going to replace the compressor. But it was talking time to get it shipped from Louisiana. They did not keep me waiting but replaced the complete outside unit. Salvador is very knowledgeable and gentle person. He kept his promise anybody can rely on him. Iram and his team are very professional. They did excellent job. For HVAC need, my first choice will always be Nova air. My sincerest thamks to you all. AC went out in middle of night, requested service first thing in the morning and they made it out by lunch time - very prompt. Tech was polite and professional and clearly spelled out options and costs and did them promptly. It turns out it was the capacitor. Much appreciated to be cool in Texas!
