We scheduled this company through our home warranty company old world republic. The company called and said they would be out first call of the day on 7.19.18. By 12 we still had not seen anyone. My husband called to see they were coming and they never returned his call. We called warranty company back and they reached out and the tech showed after 3pm. He opened unit and said looked brand new and checked filter. He changed the filter and then said our unit needed to be cleaned and may need freon. But then he said he wouldn't do that same day. Said it would have to be another service call and approved by warranty company and would be 275 if not covered. We called the warranty company because we didn't agree. The warranty company said the tech told them the unit needed to be maintenanced and needed to have filter and coil replaced. Because of this the warranty company would not send anyone else out. Mind you the tech changed the filter while he was at our house but didn't tell the warranty company this either, he said it still needed it. We had to buy window units to get through the 110 degree weekend with small children and then had to pay another company to come out. The new company services the unit and added freon which was 2+ lbs low and then our air conditioner was good to go. Its a shame Knights in Shining Armour had to take advantage of a family during these hot days! I would never recommend them to anyone. And by the way the new company fixes the issue in less than hour and less cost and no coil needed replaced.

Robert has such a high level of integrity that you don't see very often anymore. He was able to provide a great diagnosis of my mom's heating unit and made sure everything was working properly (unlike another company that was previously out there). Was detailed and appreciate Robert explaining in detail what he found on our system. The only issue was that they were scheduled to be at our house on a Sunday at 8 am and they did not show up. I had to text and call and was finally told they would not be able to make it, even though they are the ones that set the Sunday appointment, I did not request it to be on the weekend. The appointment was rescheduled for Monday, and they arrived earlier than expected, and I appreciate that.

Hats off to Knight In Shining Armor Heating & Air.
Robert came out & diagnosed a potentially catastrophic problem on our heater. We were not aware it just how serious as it was. As a result we had to have our complete HVAC system replaced. On Dec 18, 2018, they showed up just before 7 am, and within a few hours had both the inside unit & outside parts replaced. This also included doing a bit of modernization on a 20 year old system, They were professional, courteous, and very knowledgeable about their craft, thoroughly explaining everything that they did in a manner easy to understand.
Our house is comfortable now, & with the new fan even the back rooms are more comfortable.
I highly recommend Robert & his staff at Knight In Shining Armor for your heating & A/C needs.
