Great product but the super large grills come broken on the edges and is pretty impossible to return and they are expensive…. I have right now 3 that will be over 1k that are broken and I still have because I wasn’t able to return.
Other than that beautiful grills for a home. Give a modern touch to the property

I decided to replace my old vent covers to a modern one and it turned out nicely! Price on Amazon was higher than website, so I ordered directly from their web site and saved about $100. Great product and customer service!

These AC Vent covers provide a very nice updated / modern look. The mounting screws are nicely hidden inside the vent, rather than the old style which had screws on the surface. The instructions had a great suggestion to wrap a flat-head screw driver in tape to avoid scratches while adjusting the vents during installation. I would encourage them to add a suggestion to wrap the driver bit in tape as well to avoid damage while setting the self-tapping screws into the metal plenum. Very satisfied with this product !

Great customer service. The product is much better looking than the original vents. I took out the diffusers and painted the interior frame black on most of mine to help the improve air flow of the design. I believe larger slots would be of benefit in improving air flow. Why this is an issue is because the reduced air flow puts more of a "strain" on the furnace/air handler fan motor. I do not have pressue readings from before the change out from the original vents to these new ones. However, at full fan output I am now at the max in the internal pressure readings of the air handler. If you are building a new house, you can accomodate using these nice looking vents by installing a few more in the house. Your HVAC folks can hopefully do the math and size ducting and locations to accommodate these vents. I would buy again.

The linear slot diffusers sold by Texas Buildmart are top notch quality. They look superb and create a modern polished look to my old now new apartment. Their customer service is also awesome: my GC was quick installing these but he also made a mistake in the measurement so the fitting was not right for 2 of the items I ordered. However Teas Buildmart vendor was no shy in issuing a quick return label so I can ship it back for a refund.

I had a great experience with handling of my order when I reported an issue with it. It’s my second time purchasing from Texas Buildmart register box and covers. I love the looks, function, and quality.

The register was for a wine room all the cut sheets and dimensions were spot on will definitely be using for more projects

The Vents looking pretty nice so its getting two stars.
However! they have many issues.
- They are much much louder the any other vent, the wind blowing strongly on the small opening which make your house sound like a warehouse.
- They are built really bad in China, if you don't have an exact perfect square/rectangle it wont fit in nice, and actually caused me to push it, and take the air duct out of its location, all those ducts has sealers, and well they are not straight squares, and the vent don't give you this room to play.
- They are fairly pricy, but has unprofessional marks on paint, the coat is not neat on them.
- They can only move back and forth, but not side ways, which limiting you to get the air spread in the way you want too like regular vents.
- I got the tool so it was ok for me to install. but you need a special tool to put the screw on the side. because regular drill and a bit are just scratching the paint, you need like a snake Philips bit to get the right angle.

Design is not everything, you want to sleep and have quiet in your room. not extreme blowing.
