I was in need for a capacitor for my home AC central air system. I found these guys and went to the store to buy one. Bought it, brought it home and had it installed. The part was bad. The repairman checked the capacitor with a meter and showed me the reading which was bad. I took the part back to r&m for an exchange. They refused. I told them the capacitor was bad. He asked if I had checked it with a meter when I bought it, before I left the store. I said, I don't know how to do that, I bought the part I was told to buy. I didn't know I had to buy a meter and check it, being that it's a 'new' part. They said too bad. Refused to give me a refund or replacement.

Now imagine if I had bought an evaporator coil for $1,800 and once installed turned out to have a leak induce the unit. I could only imagine them asking me if I checked it before I left the store.

I always try to support local small businesses in my city, but unfortunately, this is what can happen. If I'd gone to TRANE or CARRIER in the first place and asked for a replacement, they would've done it immediately and apologized. Went to a different small business on San Dario Ave and they helped me out (not gonna name that store here, so that I'm not accused of anything). They even offered to install the part for free since I was a first-time customer. Night and day difference in service.

Had what I needed (filters for my AC unit & filters for my fridge). Friendly staff

I went in to buy a capacitor, they informed me it was still good. They could've just sold me one to make a profit but didn't. They helped further diagnose my issue and I was able to fix my AC for no cost on my own. I may not need parts now, but this guys will always be in my mind when it comes to AC parts and supplies. Thank you all!!

Poor Customer service, and very expensive on parts. would not recommend!

At this place you can get custom made air filters that are washable appliance parts widely available and a.c. parts and equipment usually stocked and in hand
