A pain to work with. When they show up they are okay. But beware, you could call for an issue and then they take 3 days to show up, fix the problem enough that it breaks again a week later and then never come back out to fix it. Absolutely zero communication between the company and the customer, sometimes we have had to wait A MONTH for us to get the quote on some work that we had been asking for the whole time. Would not recommend.

I needed HVAC support and filed a claim through my warranty company. Previous experience (with a different provider) led to same-day communications, and next-day scheduling / resolution.
After waiting on this claim for two days with no communications I contacted HWA who told me Chapman's was the service provider and asked if they'd contacted me. While they checked records I saw these reviews and asked to be re-assigned to another provider... that person was in contact in less than an hour with a scheduled appointment to fix my issue.
I don't know anything about Chapman's quality, but their lack of customer communications and claims of "24 hour service" made me want to go elsewhere. From other reviews, it seems like if/when they show up, they might be decent.

Had insurance claim. They were too busy to send a tech, that's fine but at least have the decency to let your customer aware that it would roll over to the next day. They never called. Not even the next day to follow up. I talked to the roll over tech... He apologized after I was already canceling the claim. My father was able to come and fix it in the end. Even if "next time " is a insurance claim.... I'll definitely pass on this company.

After diagnosing the problem with my AC Chapman’s took over a month to fix the problem they had diagnosed. During this time they failed to provide me with status updates or when I could expect the service to be complete. Upon fixing the initial problem they discovered another problem which took another month for them to fix. However now just 2 months later I am finding out that they misdiagnosed the problem and I am having to pay to correct this mistake. I would recommend avoiding Chapman’s.

Stay away from this unethical business! They employ deceiving technicians that will lie to you because they do not want to work.
My air handling unit was authorized to be replace due to the coils leaking refrigerant causing water to not drain properly and be sucked into the unit. They called the home warranty company to tell them that the unit was tilted backwards and the water was not draining because of this issue causing the unit to leak!
This is not the problem! The unit is titled backwards ever so slightly and would not cause the water to drip off of the coils! This business is a joke and does not want to work with you or return calls!
Stay away at all costs!

Whoever answers their phone was always so rude to me. I scheduled a day for them to come out & they never showed or bothered to call that they would not be coming. Was told they can’t come even LOOK at my unit if the temp was below 70 degrees. Called another company, they were out & replaced my unit with 2 days. Just sad.

The worse company I have ever dealt with 3rd day w/ no AC n the Ins. Called them cuz they do after hrs. N I'm still with no ac I called all through out the day n all I got was I'll called u when I have a thech ready I just called again this AM n still the same I'll called
u when I have a thech ready they dont set appts. Dont give u a time or nothing just awful
