4-6-17 We had two systems installed in our new home, one with two splits and the other with three. The three split unit quit on 9-6-21 and they couldn’t get part, PCB, until 12-28-21. This part immediately burned up when the power was turned on. The warranty expired 4-6-22. Parts couldn’t be ordered until after this date and Daikin-Goodman will not honor the warranty even though this whole thing started with six months left 9n the warranty. As of today, we have been almost 11 months with no heat or air. We feel Daikin should replace the unit under warranty since we can’t get parts. So frustrated but we won’t give up.

buyer beware!! I have a goodman ac unit in my 2nd home purchased last year. I am already having issues and I didn't register the unit within 60 days. Goodman warranty is reduced from 10 yr to 5 yr if you don't register it and only limited parts are covered. Unfortunately it is my fault for not registering the unit and losing half of the warranty coverage. DONT LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOU. THEY AREN'T WILLNIG OT WORK WITH YOU AT ALL!!!

No owners manual, or ANYTHING pertaining to unit.
Unit installed by builder 05/23/21, & HAD TO BE REPLACED 7/9/21 due to massive damages in transit BEFORE IT WAS EVEN INSTALLED.
Dent as big as a softball in corner of casing. & all four sides of cooling fins folded over, YET IT WAS INSTALLED ANYWAY!
They attempted to simply ‘comb’ the fins and replace the casing corner piece saying “It’s going to take thirty days to order another one”, yet it only took twelve days to get the replacement casing pieces!?!?
Finally replaced it after lawsuit was threatened; & it took only 14 days!?!?!
NEVER AGAIN!
Going to replace entire system as soon as possible! After I speak to an attorney…
UPDATE:
Unit was useless due to transportation damages & had to replace the replacement unit.
This time replaced with altogether different manufacturers unit!

Daiken Corporate office, Goodman Houston and Goodman Grand Prairie do not care about customer service! I built my home in 2004 and asked for Goodman 14 seer system over Trane, which was the systems that my builder normally used. One reason was I was told that the the RCE unit had lifetime on compressors. The builder did not register the unit and did not tell me I needed too. I recently had a compressor go bad and tried to get warranty on the unit. I was told that it was never registered and so the warranty will not be honored. I am the original owner of this home which i can prove, so I ask myself why would Goodman not honor the warranty? The only answer left "is that it allows them to save millions based on denial of warranty due to 60 day window that they did not register". I have tried to contact Goodman several times with no response! Is this your company's policy on customer service. Talked with Preston Wood, Daiken/Goodman Management and he gave me the legal jargon to why they cant honor the warranty. All BS they are saving millions!!

10 YEAR WARRANTY IS USELESS if the manufacturer's only response is that it would take them months to get you a replacement evaporator coil. Kinda odd that they cant find one, but I was able to buy an identical part online and have it shipped to my house in two days. Guess which company won't get my business the next time I'm in the market?

I have never seen a company hide behind so many levels of walls to separate yourself from the one person who matters the most - the primary customer or as your have so distantly titled it the "end-user." Without us at the end there would be no beginning. I have been diverted so many times to resellers and technicians that I can hear you saying, "We don't value you enough to speak directly to you (homeowner). You make an assumption that every homeowner's problem with the product can solved by a technician or the homeowner knows the installer. You make no effort to track and connect products with its manufacturer-distributer-reseller-technician in the event that the reputation of the Goodman name and mission is not carried out to the "end-user." When technicians stop coming to you and going to another company's distributor you need not wonder why - hint: We don't like your company's avoidance of valuing the real cash paying home owning customer.

Cant say enough about the job they do here. Hands down best service and dealer support. Not to mention price and warranties. Equipment. Is only as good as the installation. Its all one big circle.

Terrible customer service.My I've been having problems with my Amana AC unit ever since it was new.Purchased in 2013 7 years later the compressor is bad.Goodman should have replaced it 7 years ago.I will not purchase Badman products again

Bad they keep passing off my phone call too voice...I wanted someone in corporate. Or manufacturing got no where. Disgrace.
