DO NOT USE ARS! We have the HVAC maintenance plan, so we called to have them do our Summer check-up. The technician told us that the condenser was 2 lbs low on freon and the system is 10 years old and the freon is evaporating due to age, so it would be best for us to replace it. If he put the 2 lbs of freon in, rhe price would be 324/lbs with a 25% discount, so $486. My daughter had her hvac repairman come to check everything out:
a) the freon is not low and b) the system is working great. What a rip-off ARS is. I just happened to be talking to my daughter when the technician was here and she told me the freon should more like $50-$75/lb. ARS was trying to rip us off on every front. Mike with Indigenous Heating and Cooling saved us money and did a great job checking everything out.

Your technician attempted to clear a underground gutter drain. To his credit, he worked very hard. Unfortunately, all that was accomplished was to extract soil from my yard where the drain line was apparently broken. This resulted in a substantial amount of dirt poured out into the street. Even though he could not accomplish and fix the problem, I still had to pay a minimum $70 charge. Unfortunately, they did not do a cleanup and left all of the dirt standing in the street. I spent well over a half hour scooping in the dirt and throwing it back into my yard . I tried breaking it up with a water hose. And today the street sweeper came by and realized what a mess. It was such that he made a return circle to try to clean it up again. I don’t want to get your technician into trouble because he was a very nice person . But I was left with a mess and the problem is not fixed.

Had a horrible experience with the technician (Abiodun Adebayo) who seem to possess very poor knowledge about AC related matters. He completely misguided us by telling that the refrigerant level was low which was not the case at all. I had to call ARS again to come and take a look and this time someone knowledgeable came and said that the refrigerant level had no issues. Please do not send this kind of technician who comes just to misguide instead of solving customer's problems.

Nice Customer Service. Dispatch Guy was less than friendly even though they were the ones behind. Had me scheduled in 3 different 4 hr windows, only to miss them all. I had to reach out to reschedule on day 2, still missed the whole day. 3rd attempt I planned ahead, still missed the 45 minute window. Very frustrating. I'm sure the techs are nice and professional, but their scheduling is awful.

I have been using them for over 15 years and they never failed us. This time though, I was extremely impressed and appreciative of what the Technician Mike Flanery did! He was the most professional, respectful, talented, and knowledgeable Technician I have ever dealt with. He took his time and did the required work thoroughly and accurately. Chad Jackson was my salesman. Chad is very professional, courteous, and knowledgeable about the products for ARS. He was extremely patient with me as I have a habit of asking at least 1000 questions! I would highly recommend asking for him if anyone has a need for an AC.
The technicians that installed the air conditioner were very nice gentleman. They were knowledgeable, courteous, professional, and did an excellent job!

The technician, Mr. Bouthim, was friendly and polite. He was clean and put on his shoe protection before entering the house. I noticed with the new techs, time spent in the attic and outside is very short. He took time to explain the possible issues that I may have in the future with this A/C that they put in 3-2014, with a 10 year warranty on parts and labor.
Every year the A/C techs come out and always leave a recommendation, which is very helpful, but which I can afford and will not make a choice between my medications and my a/c.
