I called home depot relying that they would connect with a good company for ac service and ended up wasting 2 days of my time. They gave me a 4-7pm window on the same day and they never showed up. I called to talk to the service center 7pm and at 9pm since I had been waiting, and they assured me someone was still coming, but they never did. The next day when they finally reached back out to me, they focused on trying to upsell me on a new system instead of repairing what I was asking for. They wanted to charge me $2000 to replace a bad motor with a "universal" replacement. Online, a new OEM motor runs for about $300 and the work certainly could be done in an hour of time. Since the rep did not have r22 on him, he said he was gonna call around for some and ended up disappearing for 3 hours. A different rep showed up and right away told me he and the company don't carry R22. Keep in mind this is after they already quoted me a price and were "starting the job". The 2nd rep then proceeded to give me new pricing for clearing a drain line than what I had already been quoted and had agreed to with the first rep. I don't know who I'll go with for the repairs but it definitely won't be ARS/Rescue Rooter.

Horrible business practice. Went through the complete booking process on yesterday (Friday) with an appointment set for today (Saturday) only to get a phone call today (Saturday) that they ONLY service my area on Wednesdays. This is so unprofessional and leaves me and my family to continue suffering without A/C. Trying to find someone else to come out last minute will be next to impossible. ARS did nothing to accommodate me or my situation for their error. That is extremely unprofessional

Our house was flooded yesterday. We called ARS and they told us a technician would come between 6:30-8:30 PM. Technician Thomas txt us around 8 pm and told us he was on his way.

Then No one showed up and we received an email telling us the appointment is changed to 8 to 12 this morning. So we had to suffer a night of no toilets but with wet flooring and walls.

Thank you ARS, we could have called my individual plumber instead of trusting you the big company who has more resources.

The ordeal didn't end there. I got an email from ARS around 9:30 am telling me the appointment was rescheduled to 9 to 1pm. Maybe the broken promise last night will repeat again?

I don't know as of what I am writing now. I have called many times this morning and tried to talk to the management so they could really understand the urgency and find an answer for their credibility. But the people who answered the phones always told me they have emailed the management or transferred me to the dispatcher. The dispatcher told me ARS has made a mistake and someone would come and hung up on me.

ARS's management needs to look into this. People come to you believing you are more reliable. The opposite is true for me so far.

After 6 visits to my home they still have not given me a clear answer on my problem with my system and have promised to replace AC lines with no solutions or time to do so. Also said I should put my system on the roof with no explanation. Still waiting for follow up call. This is after I spent 14k plus for them to replace my coil and condenser. Still no call back for a repeat customer

Horrible service and comically unethical. Guy came out on a Sunday for a clogged toilet. Said the camera mounted snake was not available as advertised. Only after he tried all methods would the supervisor come back with the camera. He quickly found out that the snake he used can go in 75 feet but cant unclog it. Does that sound plausible? Anyhow, he says he had to remove the toilet for $600 because he thinks the blockage is only a few feet away between the toilet and the half bath. This is how they convert a $83 advertised rate to $600. After some haggling, he agreed to $450. He took out the toilet and was able to find the clog within 10 minutes. We asked him to leave the snake in there for at least 30 but he wouldn't. Said it wasn't necessary. He put it in and went outside to talk on the phone. The pipes started to drain and we thought it was done. Unfortunately, it stopped draining again 6 days later. We call to have someone come out with the camera because obviously there is blockage that cant be found without. They tell me there is a "camera charge". Mind you, it was supposed to be free on day one. The person on the phone couldn't tell me what the price of the camera is. How is that possible they know its required but dont know the price? Ofc, they say that so they can see how much gouging you can tolerate. They promised to send someone out 12 to 4. Someone calls at 430 and says "gosh, we never saw this work order. We are sending someone out right away in next 3 hours". 3 hours later, Brian calls to "actually, we dont have anyone who can come out today. Are you available on Monday'?". Imagine asking two adults and two kids to not shower, use the toilet, and the kitchen. After I disagreed firmly, he said "okay Sunday 3 to 7p". The camera guy was a no show on Sunday. He came following day. Camera guy was more professional. Found a damage to the drain pipe likely caused by foundation issues. If the camera was available as advertised, we would have saved so much time and heartache. Camera guy wouldnt give us a download of the pics. He offered to download it to a flash drive for $500. No thanks. Buyer beware.

David Vasquez very polite and knowledgeable. He suggested what I needed, and once I did independent research, I called him back to proceed. He was not pushy. He was straight forward and honest. My AC is working great.

We had them come by to open the kitchen drain. They guy came and said it will cost $580 for hydro jetting. We okay it. An hour later he had call another person who said they it’s not opening there is something hard stuck in the middle. So, the only option you are left with is to for us to dig a tunnel and we would cut that portion and redo the piping. It will cost $18,549. 00. We were what over 18 thousand dollars and he said yes plus once open it up I’d there are any unforeseen able mishaps it could be more. He was very convincing. However, we had our neighbor to check if we should go ahead with it. He came and started questioned Ryan, and said oh the cable is no going further than 18 feet. Our neighbor asked I would like to see when your send in the camera what you see in it. Ryan told him there is water on; so, the view is not clear. Anyhow he got upset with our neighbor’s questions and left. We had Abacos and the guys came in 20 minutes he opened the drain, and was able to send in the cable about 40 feet. So, please be careful with their prognosis, you might consider seeking a second opinion.

The person that I spoke with told me that they had a $69.99 special For drain cleaning and for a camera service. I know how these "specials" work so, after explaining exactly what was needing to be done And the fact that our clean out was inside the house under the kitchen sink and That the Drain line was under the house And was roughly 20' to the outside of a house. I asked once again if I qualified for this special And Was told yes. The following day when the technician showed up 3 hours after the appointment window as soon as he walked in the house he said that the $69.99 special only applied for the cleanout being outside the house for the main sewer line and they would not honor the special And charged us over $300 just to run a snake through the line and clean it out and he didn't even have the camera. This just happened. The technician said they will be coming tomorrow with the camera. If they don't show up I will be adding to this review. In short, someone shouldn't tell you that you qualify for a special And not honor it. We won't be using this company again.
