Hamad and his team were great! They arrived within 30 minutes of calling them and fixed the problem and got our AC back up and running. Highly recommend them for all your AC needs!

I had Jason come in to check the hvac system. He was on time, very professional and diagnosed the unit effectively. He confirmed that there was nothing wrong with the unit which was a huge relief. I appreciate the professionalism, transparency and responsiveness and can see why you are rated #1

Don called, we discussed the job (replacing the draft inducer) and 30 min. later he was at my doorstep. He went to work and dispatched the job in short order, then inspected and cleaned the burners. While he was checking the system he noticed that the ductwork just above the furnace was dilapidated and leaking heated air. He went back to his shop for needed supplies. He returned and taped and cemented the leaks. All in less than 3 hrs and for less than $300. We are very happy to have found this vendor and recommend them highly. American Pro will be our “go to” service should we have any HVAC issues in the future.

I could not have asked for a more thorough assessment and diagnosis of the multiple HVAC problems I had going on in my old house. After interviewing multiple HVAC companies, there was no question, this company knew what they were doing and were going to fix it the right way, no short cuts. They could have scrapped all the old and put in new because it was so bad, but they worked with what I had and were able to get the home cool again and our upstairs livable and comfortable. They also did extra things for me to ensure things worked properly and educated me on the system in place, I cannot express how thankful I am to have found this company after MANY evaluations by other HVAC companies that claim they are #1. Will DEFINITELY USE American PRO AC for LIFE!!

Hamad D. arrived on time, was very respectful, friendly and knowledgeable. He informed us of the issues he found, the steps he would take to repair the minor AC problem, and even provided helpful advice to prevent the problem from occurring again. Our unit is old and he could have easily tried to get us to replace it. But instead he fixed just what was needed so we could have cold air again. This young man and company showed alot of integrity. Will definitely call on them when it is time to replace our AC

if anybody needs ac work done or especially any kind of replacement, you’ve GOT TO CALL THESE GUYS! it’s a locally owned company and when I say they’re all about their customer service, I mean they are ALL ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE! i don’t know that i’ve ever had better service or worked with nicer people. let me elaborate.…

we noticed our house starting to warm up around 7 pm last night. we all know how hot it is in houston, so we were willing to pay after hours pricing to have our home cooled while we slept. we made some calls around 7:30 pm and went with abacus. we were told someone would be here before midnight. after calling them back to confirm our appointment several times, someone finally showed up at midnight on the dot. he took a quick look and told us we needed to replace our external unit, gave us a quote of $7,000, and said parts wouldn’t be here for a couple days….he also charged us $150 for coming out after hours.

worried about being stuck in this heat for 2 days, I made some late night calls to a few other companies and left voicemails. one company, American Pro, actually called me back 5 mins later—at 1:30 this morning! I could tell he had been sleeping, but he was very polite none the less. I told him we needed someone to come out first thing in the morning to give us a quote. there was no mention of a service fee for coming out if we didn’t use them for repairs or replacement. he scheduled the appt first thing this morning.

the guy who came this morning took a look around and agreed we needed to replace the external until. not only was his HIGHEST quote $2,600 cheaper than the quote last night, it also included a HUGE upgrade to what we had as well as a warranty that was 2 years longer than the first company’s.

and here’s the best part….they’re already replacing the unit-TODAY! we will be cooling in a few hours!

I started talking to the young man who sold us the unit (and who is working hard now on the replacement) and discovered a few more things about this amazing company….

American Pro is a locally owned company who sincerely puts the customers needs FIRST. their truck says “call today, cool today,” and that’s exactly what they do…BUT THEY DO SO MUCH MORE!

**their normal service fee of $75 is typically waived on a regular business day…even if you don’t use them. that $75 is what american pro charges for after hours and holiday calls…that is unless you use American pro for whatever work needs to be done—in which case there is no after hours service charge! so even if you call on cmas day and they come out…and do the work…there will be no charge for their after hours OR holiday work!

**they save and utilize/donate “scratch and dent” units (they call these “911 units”) for situations when the need arises. they cannot sell these units to the public, but rather than just trash them to clear up space, they hold the the units for situations such as these:

~a single mom’s unit stopped working.
she could in no way afford a new one.
the guys at american pro GAVE her
one of their 911 units! they also GAVE
her the labor that accompanied
installing it!

~a family wanted a specific kind of
unit-a fancy, super big unit-and
american pro had to order it. this was
on a thursday or friday, and the new
unit was not arriving until monday.
american pro did not want to leave
the family in the heat over the
weekend bc they advertise “call today,
cool today.” so they went and installed
one of the 911 units as a temporary fix
until the new unit arrived…of course at
no additional cost!

so if anybody needs any ac repair or replacement work done, these are the guys to call!!!

The team was on time, professional and offered excellent service. They made sure we had all the information needed to make the best decision. The work was completed and I would definitely recommend others to use this business. On top of the excellent repair service, the team checked on another issue that had been going on in our home since it was built. The issue was that the master would be hot in summer and cold in winter. We were thinking it was a major issue but they checked it for us and found that the builders had never opened the damper. The room had never received any air for 13 years. Other A/C specialist were recommending replacing the whole system without trying a simple solution.
