J AND T MECHANICAL HEATING AND COOLING

11 months ago I called Jay to inquire about what type of HVAC system he would recommend for my home, he made a recommendation and I believed him, so he pulled out my old system and put in a new one and a more efficient system....., or so I thought, which in hind site seems to be a mistake. After receiving the highest electric bill in 19 years I called Jay to inquirer as to the "WHY" or what is happening? I explained to hime (Jay) over the last 10 months of using the new system he installed I have used more KW's than the pervious 10 months with a system that was 19 years old? When I called Jay to ask why, he had three basic responses: 1. Call your electric company and ask them. 2. Have an energy efficiency test done on your home......, really? (BTW, I've replaced my windows and roof within the last 3 years) 3. He (Jay) questioned why I had my thermostat set so high based on the weather.....? I had the temp set at 75 which I do not think is go high. His (Jay) customer service and/or service after the sale is the worst I've encountered in some time. He said that he would come out to discuss, but that got push back 2 or 3 times, then he told me he would not be coming out at all....., instead he was going to send a technician out (which I would think should have been done anyway?), ultimately I told him (Jay) not to send his tech out since he was not going to come out. All I know is that the system he recommended and installed is costing MORE THAN a system that was 19 years old and his customer service is terrible. I would steer clear of this company and/or get second and third opinion(s) on his suggestions......

Really....., a $300.00 electric bill "IS NOT" normal for my home, NEVER in 19 years have we had a bill that high, not until I followed your recommendation did that occur....., you and your company failed me!!!!

Jay came out late last night and fixed my a/c after hours. Being a single female I can tell you he is NOT the kind of person that tries to sell you something you don't need. He also spent extra time in an 88 degree home explaining tips I can use in the future. He came highly recommended to me, and I'm doing the same. If you want an honest person to fix your AC, Jay's your guy. They don't come any nicer or more experienced.

Jay is a quality guy who will do anything for his customers. If you need anything done with your heating and cooling systems, you should use J & T!

I highly recommend J&T Mechanical. Over the weekend, our AC went out and they were here within a couple hours of our phone call. Jay was so easy to work with and he fixed our issue in 30 minutes! It was so nice to be taken care of so quickly especially since we have two young children that needed some cool air!

Finding a decent company to provide heating and cooling service is not easy. I learned more in 30 minutes from Jay than in the previous 4 years of service with other AC companies. Jay is fantastic! Fair, honest, reasonable. Do yourself a favor and call Jay if you are tired of the turn around a typical AC company will give you.

Fantastic service! Very knowledgeable. Jay diagnosed an issue that other companies missed. Jay fixed the issue within minutes and had the unit back up and operating with no issues. Don't waste time with any other company. Call Jay. Get honest feedback and good workmanship. Can't say enough good things about Jay and his work.

Jay is very knowledgeable, friendly and punctual He provided great service. I appreciated his attention to detail and follow up. I was also pleased with the pricing. The new units are running great and we are thankful to have AC working again. Highly recommend J&T Mechanical!

I called them this morning and Jay called me back same day. I he was able to come over same day and took time to explain what and why he was doing. Installed​my next thermostat also no problem. Fixed my air and gave me great advice for future. Fast and Honest service. Also didn't charge me an arm and leg which has happen before.

Jay is excellent! He’s trustworthy, great at communicating, and perfectly explains things about your A/C units that you never understood or knew before. His pricing is better than any other A/C contractor I’ve used before. So I highly recommend J and T Mechanical!

The most reasonable and honest repair guy we have EVER experienced. We have been having issues with our AC. We had 2 other companies come out... Neither of them had a real good solution. One guy "thought" he could fix it for $1500 and the other guy insisted we needed a new unit. We called Jay as our third option and he shot us straight. He had an incredibly reasonable solution to our problem. AC is working for a fraction of the cost... and we definitely didn't need to replace it.
