I’ve only used Kane Hearing &Air since I bought my house 13 years ago. They have always been able to accommodate my schedule, no problem is ever too big for them to fix and their prices are very reasonable. Today Chris did an excellent job with getting my unit up and running within an hour. Most of all he came early ahead of schedule so I didn’t have to suffer in this Texas heat. That was very considerate of him. Thank you Chris! .I will always be a loyal customer. Thank you for always taking care of your customers!
I had an OUTSTANDING experience with this business today. I can’t express how incredibly happy we were with the service on our home A/C unit this morning. Chris was outstanding and professional! He was here for 5 min and already diagnosed what he thought the problem was and was 100% correct! Needless to say the family is VERY happy right now as the house is cool again. I HIGHLY recommend them and will definitely be using them in the future if the need may arise!
The service technician that came out two days ago said that repairing the coil leak was not worth it on my 6 years old unit and that I needed a whole brand new system. He was trying to push for a 4 ton unit costing $23,000.00. I asked how much it would be to repair the coil leak and he said around $3000.00. I said no thank you and I wanted to get a second opinion. He was nice and charming, but all salesmen usually are. Today, a wonderful technician came out from Killeen Heating and Air and said he could easily repair it. He repaired the leak and added freon and now my house is so cool. Miraculously it was able to be repaired and up and running for $412.50! Apparently, technicians must be getting commission for selling new units....please be aware!!
Called Thursday afternoon and they had someone out the very next morning. Donald, our tech, came in and found the problem right away. He was quick and efficient and so pleasant (which is hard to find these days in customer service especially for those working in the heat all day).
I am sorry that this is limited to 5 stars clearly they deserve 10 stars. The install team arrived on time, they kept us informed of any issues. They were very respectful and professional. I am extremely happy I called them for our repair.
This company is the absolute best. I would highly recommend them. When there was a problem with installing in this old house, the company sent help(lots of help). They stayed until the job was finished. (Way after normal business hours). I have never had that kind of service. Hunter, Alex, and I’m sorry don’t remember the rest of their names, were so wonderful.
AWESOME JOB KANE!!! I have no problems with y'all coming into my house for however long you need. I have NO doubt that you ALL are trustworthy workers, proof or not. Don't let one bad review from 1 customer, who probably worked on their own system and are now upset about having to shell out money to get a new one, get you down. KEEP UP THE AMAZING WORK!!!
The installation went okay but trying to schedule an inspection was a hassle. Kept missing calls and appoinents and the lady on the phone was rude. Just adjust your expectations for a long and annoying process. I would expect a little more core for someone who dripped $10k on a unit. Update: the operations manager reached out and sorted everything out, i was very impressed with the personalized care so I am updating my review.
My blower went out on my indoor A/C unit. Josh communicated well, identified the initial problem within 15 minutes and corrected the problem in an hour. Great service
UPDATE. Adam from Kane heating called and apologized and immediately issued me a full refund. No questions asked. That is good customer service and is much appreciated. Thank you Adam. --------------------------------------
I had them come out to do a routine check up of my HVAC. They told me there was a leak in the coolant and said it would cost about $4500 to repair it $9+ to replace. They charged me $265. Two days later I had a different HVAC company come out to check my system. They found NO leaks and said my unit was running perfectly. Kane heating and air is ripping off customers. I am disputing their charge.
