I would not recommend DTC Air Conditioning and Heating to anyone. They have not been able to fix or rectify the air conditioning problems on my home. The bills have reached into the thousands and my renter is still without a fully functional air conditioner. They are unable to even give any estimates of cost or resolve the problem after 4 visits to the home over a 90 period. They have no warranty program at all and will continue to try and price gauge the customer without properly fixing the issue. Brian’s customer service is horrible and he will not take my calls and just hangs up on me when I am trying to resolve the matter. His poor customer service and lack of proper air conditioner maintenance reflects in the character of his company. I will never recommend his company to any Central Texas resident. Save your money and get a professional and reputable air conditioning and heating company.
Exceptional customer service. We have an carrier infinity system. And Gary is one of the few technicians in Central Texas that is knowledgeable in their idiosyncrasies. We are old timers, when we were young we saw what true service entailed. And Gary along with DTC Air embodies this work ethic.
I had them come in to do a warranty repair that another company wanted to charge me twice as much for (they didn't bother to check warranty coverage even though I asked about it). They did great work and even did some great soundproofing around the indoor unit at a very reasonable cost. I would recommend them without hesitation.
They were very professional, curious, helpful, and patient! Had the whole house moved over to new units as the old units were getting old. They explained in detail what they were doing and then did it! Gary, was the star of the operation. Told us what to expect and delivered. highly recommended! John & Carole
These guys are EXCEPTIONAL, in every way. I own a service business as well and I give my customers the kind of service that Rowdy and his guys do. I called them several times, satisfied each time. This last time was a Sunday and my A/C went out. Rowdy was there in less than an hour, climbed up in the attic, and replaced the defective switch (which was the only problem) and charged VERY reasonably considering it was a weekend call.... If I could give these guys more than 5 stars, I would!
Brian and his team were great when we bought a 5 ton A/C unit from them in August 2012. We discovered a leak in our bathroom ceiling that was coming from the A/C condensation piping in the attic and called them, they sent a serviceman out (my husband was in the attic with him) who taped the line moved the drain pan, (to where it should have been originally) and said it would be a "maintenance" call and the office would bill us. My husband called Monday morning and spoke with Brian, expressing concern it wasn't "maintenance" but the drain pan hadn't been installed correctly during the initial A/C installation. The recent high humidity produced excessive condensation which leaked from the pipe and with the overflow pan not in the correct position created the leak down into our bathroom ceiling resulting in saturated drywall and a water stain on the ceiling approximately 24 x 33 inches. Brian told me he would talk to his serviceman (Kyle) and get back to me, asking what he could he do to make it right. He never called. I called again Monday afternoon, and was told by Brenda she would make sure he got the message. My wife called again Tuesday afternoon and was told by Brenda he was out of town and wouldn't be back until Thursday, she asked again that he return our calls. Never called. So here we sit nine days later, with a stained ceiling we will have to repair and a pipe that has been taped, but no word from Brian as to the why and how can we fix the problem. It HAS been two years since the unit was installed, however, if the overflow pan had been installed correctly the leak would have been contained. Obviously Brian doesn't feel customer service is an important part of doing business and returning phone calls to customers who have problems isn't HIS problem. Wish we'd have known how he treats his customers prior to purchasing a $6,100.00 + A/C unit from him. Certainly wouldn't recommend DTC for purchasing or service work.
I would never recommend this business. After quoting us a price of "$80 to $110" to replace a warrantied part on our two-year old Carrier unit, they charged us $400 to replace the part. They were in our home for 15 minutes and wanted $400 for a part warrantied by Carrier. When we refused to pay a price that was more than twice what the business had quoted us, they removed the part and left. Dishonesty is not a character trait I recommend in any business.

Henry was the technician who helped me. Super knowledgeable and hard-working guy! Definitely would recommend to anyone who needs work done FAST! Ask for Henry!
Called for one of two air condition broke in middle of night....by 2 pm today technician was gone after driving to south Austin for part and done...great company! The reason we used them...moved here a year ago and while at a gas station a employee heard me saying we are new here...he gave me their business card and welcomed me to Texas...great place and company!
