Air Repair Pros

When my AC went out, Air Repair Pro was the cheapest and quickest option in Allen TX out of the 5 other places I called. Johnny R got here the next morning, told me my options, answered my questions, and made the whole repair seamless and easy. I am definitely saving their number in my phone.

We requested Josh to come and trace a potential leak in our 6 year old TRANE unit. He had been here the previous week and indicated according to his service maintenance findings, there appeared to be a leak but he had to conduct a complete diagnostic to pinpoint where the leak was. He spent 3 hours doing the testing. He did identify the leak and repaired it. He was thorough, polite, and showed me everything he had replaced and repaired

Sam was extremely professional and very patient with my list of questions. I felt like he actually cared about my concerns and he was eager to help. He was very thorough with the inspection and even set things up to be easier for the next one. He did find two things he recommended but I never felt any pressure to add any extra repairs. It was the opposite of the typical "sales person" you get with some companies.

I highly recommend Air Repair Pros. I've used them twice and had great experiences both times. I also recommend their Comfort Club. It ensures you do your maintenance twice a year and it basically pays for itself in savings.

Johnny is amazing. He explained everything with detail and professionally. We got the answers to our concerns and most of all he fixed the problem right away. Arturo was great—I needed another estimate and he was very thorough and explained everything clearly. Seems like a reasonable cost and a professional company! Not sure if I’m using them or not—need to compare all estimates.

DO NOT WORK WITH AIR REPAIR.
I hired Air Repair to install a new Air Conditioning unit and purchased the recurring protection plan Air Repair offers. Upon installation my unit promptly began clogging up, requiring consistent maintenance from Air Repair.
The first few times this occurred, a valve in the AC shut off the unit preventing flooding and structural damage. But less than a month after an Air Repair tech came out to clear the previous clog, the unit clogged again. This time the valve did not shut off the AC unit and it flooded our house (current cost estimates are over $30,000 for replacement and repair).
I again called Air Repair and asked them to explain why my living room was now a lake. Air Repair tech Ryan B. said that the valve should have shut off the AC and prevented flooding (as it had before). I noted that the valve did not work and again asked what happened to cause this. Ryan stated he would guess it was an error in installation or maintenance of the device.
When I contacted the Customer Experience manager Kara, her explanation was that the valve worked as intended and that Air Repair bears no responsibility for what occurred. I noted this seems to be incorrect; if the valve had worked the flooding should not have occurred. Kara again reiterated that Air Repair accepts no responsibility for what occurred.
To summarize:
- Air Repair installs valve
- Air Repair maintains valve
- Valve malfunctions, causing catastrophic damage
- Air Repair tech says root cause of issues was installation or maintenance of the valve
- Air Repair corporate says the valve worked fine and accepts no responsibility for what occurred
I have never had a company attempt to gaslight me like this. I cannot believe that Air Repair would leave their customers in the lurch after they have caused so much damage. Even as I write this up, I have a hard time fathoming their justification. And due to my poor decision to hire Air Repair, I am stuck interacting with them until this is fully resolved.
Save yourself the trouble. Its better to spend a summer in Texas without AC than it is to work with a company like Air Repair.

Reporting my AC blowing warm air early this morning, and Arturo arrived early for 10:00 a.m. appointment and fixed my system quickly. Very professional. Very quick to appear onsite. Great job.

The technician arrived on time, and quickly look at the system/gave me a price for the repair work. Once the work was completed the work he showed pictures/explained the work he completed.

Jonny Rivera did a great job on servicing my AC unit, he was very knowledgeable in answering my questions and gave me all the options for servicing the AC system, and provided his professional suggestion to minimize my cost. I'm happy with the job!

They came out ASAP on a day that I know they were busy since it has been in the 20's and 30's all week. Jason did a great job explaining our issues and his recommendations for repairs in making our system more reliable. I would definitely recommend Air Repair Pros.
