Winkelman Heating and Air Conditioning

A week with no central air at the hottest side of summer and Irving Viscaino and Uriel Mendoza worked their hearts out. We are cool again. Thank you for taking care of us and fixing everything. Last Winkleman unit lasted 25+ years, let's go for 2. 👌🦸‍♂️🌬

Company travelled to distant location immediately to provide estimate; assessed repair options; and when it became obvious that a new system was required, installed it as promised within two days of providing an estimate. Within the first week of installation, both the heat and ac were used with the crazy panhandle weather. All staff demonstrated their expertise in the installation, and were professional, respectful, and courteous. I highly recommend the company.

Terrible Service! They tell you they will put your work order in right away, but don't tell you how long it will take. It took them one and a half weeks to come repair my a/c then another 2 weeks to get the part I needed delivered. I was without a/c for the entire month of June! Then, 6 weeks later the a/c was broken again. They told me they would put that work order right in, but this time I asked how long the wait would be. 1-1/2 to 2 days? On a return repair? Don't use this company unless you want your summer to be very hot!

I have had Winkelman Heating and Air install 3 central heat and air systems. One was for my previous home. They arrived on time and worked diligently to finish the job in one day. They were courteous and professional and cleaned up better than I could have. We loved the a/c and heater system and our electric bill decreased by almost a hundred dollars a month due to the new system. Our propane bill also decreased drastically.
The second unit Winkelman's installed was at my elderly father's home. Again, the work was done very professionally in one day's time. My dad was treated like gold in spite of the fact that he called the install crew three times during their lunch break just to see what they were doing.
After the system was installed we called Winkelman and told them that my dad could not see the numbers or hot and cold indicators on the thermostat dial. Free of charge a serviceman drove more than 80 miles to install a super giant thermostat for my dad and took the time to explain to him how the thermostat worked. ( that took more than once).
Last year we moved to a new house and called Winkelman. After having our choices of systems explained and deciding on which unit we wanted in one day our house was transformed from an outdated heating and air system to a wonderful, clean unit. The crew was professional and courteous. Sam, the salesman whom we spoke with before the sale, called several times to make sure we were happy with the unit and service. Once again, our electric bill dropped almost one hundred dollars a month. We are now on natural gas and not propane. Our natural gas bill last winter for a 2000 square foot house never exceeded $70 a month.
There is no perfect company. Everyone's experience will be different in all situations but I cannot recommend any company higher than I do Winkelman's. If you need a system and want to deal with honest, professional people call Winkelman's and at least give them a chance to treat you the way I was treated. Awful experience. All I needed was an outside air unit hooked up. Already had most of it done. Said it was going to take upwards of three hours, which it wouldn't have, and quoted me over 800 dollars. And on top of that was smoking a cigarette around my house and blowing the smoke almost in my wife's face. Will never use them or recommend them.

Purchased a new heating and air unit from Winkleman. The install was easy and quick. They were in and out in less than a day and did a very clean and professional job.

We love our new unit and would highly recommend Winklemans to anyone else.

They were awesome. Talked to them about new heat and A/C unit and they had it installed and running the next day. They did an excellent job!
