Do yourself a favor and AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!!! What a terrible terrible business and very unprofessional people to deal with. There are lot better AC servicing companies in the valley who are a lot more worthy of having your business versus this sad excuse of a company.
Well I called Border Air Conditioning and they went right to work and found the problem and they were professional I recommend them very highly. The parts were expensive but my air conditioning is throwing cold 🥶 air I’m a disabled veteran and I have health problems
Very "professional" service technicians. Superb company response time coupled with extreme technical knowledge. Diagnostic took 15 minutes. Replacement of (pricey?) capacitor another 15 minutes. Would "highly recommend" this Donna, Texas business owner. Kudos!
Excellent service, on time, professional, quality yes. Pricing was not their problem but Freon & 30 min. of labor was near $400. If I was still working and not retired it might not have been an obstacle. I would use them next time.
I been dealing with different Ac guys for many yrs. One thing about the Ac industry like alot trade industries they don't have a standard on how much to charge for certain types Ac work. There is alot of guys out there that have outrageous fees for simple jobs. I had one guys charge me 100 dollars in labor just to change an Ac breaker plus service charge. This breaker change was a simply take off and put back on type of job. So, now with my problem. I have a 5 ton package unit that the condenser coils had a leak and lucky me I'm still under warranty. I called Eddie from Border air and told him my problem and then told me to send him my warranty info and within a hr . He told me that he found my part in stock . So, he told to install it and charge up with like 20 lbs of 410a freon . He charged 475 . That's is a great price especially with freon included. Hess aire wanted to charge me just for install was 349 plus 49.99 to diagnose and freon started at 299.99 . I'm pretty sure I would paid something like 750 with hess aire and oh ya they told me my part was on back order to end it. Lucky, I have Eddie as my new Ac tech.. Thank you. Happy Health to all...
Our AC burned out one evening and we knew it was time to replace our system. I called Border Air Conditioning because I knew they were local and I've heard and seen good things from them.
We called their business number and described our needs and issue with our current system. Eddie came to our house quickly, evaluated our system, quoted us and was able to schedule the complete upgrade for the next morning. They had great options for our needs and were very well priced and offered pretty great warranty. Even though there was a little confusion on the morning of install, the guys showed up and completed the full upgrade in short time.
I'm happy we chose Border Air and would recommend them to others 100%
Well, they came by yesterday charged me 698 that for 200 more I could have just brought a new unit. That wasn't the problem though. I woke up to a hot house (88F) .... I had the thermostat at 68F, so 698 for what again? Today I called them back.... I will see that happens and I will post it here so people can read my personal experience. Do I want them back no, but I almost wasted 700 dollars so they need to make it work. Personally, I am dissatisfied and if I would have known all that money for nothing, I wouldn't have chosen Border Air (11:30AM) (11:38AM) Well, they showed up really quick, seemed concerned over the issue, moved the breaker a bit and now it seems to be working, still a little warm for my liking but they did mention the will check up within an hour.... I will be ready (1:46pm The next day) They didn't, show like stated. The house is fresh in some areas and at night in was cold in one room. Am going to cut my 698 loss and not deal with them. Not like they care to check up like they said. This is my experience with Border AC, I don't recommend them.
I truly recommend Border Air. They are very knowledgeable of all a/c systems. U don't have to wait weeks for them to come service ur a/c unit. They come right away. One thing I really like is that when they finish their work on ur unit, they clean up even better than what it was before they came... he he he. And here's the best thing: Their Price is Always Right. I have been a loyal customer of Border Air for 14 yrs. Eddie, the Owner is an Awesome And Very Friendly Person. My AC system was freezing up, after letting it defrost there was very little air coming out of the air vents. My blower gave out, Border Air came out right away and fixed my problem, even on Memorial Day.
