James and his helper Milton were great. They came out next day on a Saturday after a last minute quote that was very competitive and and did a fantastic job replacing our entire system. I will absolutely use them in the future if needed!

My AC died a week ago and we called these guys to come and replace the system. They came the next day to work on it, but when I went outside to go to work, all of them were playing on their phones. Why am I paying someone to just play around when my place is 80 degrees?!

Over the course of the next week, they have been back every single day. Whatever they did to the ac did not fix the issue. Every morning I wake up sweating at four am because the ac just... Stopped! There is no other explanation. It stops blowing cool air, despite the temperature set at 70. I wake up and it's 77 or higher.

I've called everyday to have somebody come out and fix the ac. I've told them that I want to speak to the technician when they get here so I can see what the problem is. Nobody has come to talk to me. Even the owner was sent out to see what was going on and yet we're still experiencing this awful issue.

I'm at my wits end. I'm so frustrated. It's well over 105 degrees outside and yet sometimes it feels cooler out there than it does in here. If you want actual results, go to somebody else. I'm calling my landlord to see if we can use somebody more qualified.

Don't be foolish like I was and call someone else. They will only disappoint. Instead!!!
Call James Cogburn the FIRST TIME. He was on time, polite, clean and took the time to explain what was going on, what he was going to do to fix it, what I could do to keep my unit clean and operational and what to look out for in case this ever happens again.
Thank you thank you thank you James! Now my AC is cold as ice oh, thank you to the "Ice Cold Man" James at Cogburn's Heating and Air.

We called at 8:30am and scheduled an emergency repair for our non working A/C unit. The first person I spoke with scheduled the appointment and asked me to call back if the tech didn’t show up within 2.5 - 3 hours, which they never ever showed. So I called back at the 3 hour mark and they said they cannot contact the tech because they don’t have that ability from the call center, so we still had no ETA. I called back an hour later and they said the same thing; no ETA. I called back 2 hours later to see if they could give us any information at all and they said the emergency visit had expired. All I wanted was a ETA but they never could provide so we scheduled a call with “Force Home Services” and we had a call from their tech within 10 minutes. Cogburn’s has horrible customer service and leave their customs hanging. I wouldn’t recommend Cogburn’s to my worst enemy. Maybe we were a one-off issue, but in the end, their customer service is that of a poorly run company..

Picked up the phone on a Sunday afternoon and Ricky was here the next morning, not only on-time, but about 5 min early. Within a matter of no time, he had addressed our system's issue, fixed it, and did a system tune-up. Very pleased with the communication, promptness, and service received from Ricky, and Cogburn's in general.

I’ve waited a long time to write this in the hopes that my issues would be fixed, but I’m out of patience. We purchased a combo unit and paid to redo our duct work back in January. We live in an old home and knew this wouldn’t be easy but Byron (the owner) came out and spoke with me and assured me he could handle the job.

I called 3 other company’s to give me quotes, none of them seemed as knowledgeable as Byron so we went with him. This was a huge purchase for us, we’ve financed the new unit and duct work for 5 years to be able to “afford” this.

The first day they came out their techs were very polite and professional, however 12 hours later the unit still wasnt running so they called Ricky. He came and explained that the unit was 60hz and we have a 30 amp house so that was why they were having trouble getting it working. It was all very confusing but he left with our unit running on heat. I don’t recall the date of the first issue but I know it was the first time we tried to run the ac, the unit froze up. It took 7 service calls for them to finally get that fixed and it was Ricky who finally fixed it.

During this time I tried to get Byron on the phone at least a half dozen times and was told over and over that he was unavailable. I can’t tell you how upset that made me, the least the owner could have done was called me at that point! Fast forward a bit and I have a minor issue. The French drain they installed isn’t deep enough and I have some puddling going on.

I call and actually get Byron on the phone, which I was grateful for. He apologized and we discussed my issue and agreed on how to resolve it. I even told him no rush, the unit is running fine just come when you can but I want you or Ricky here. He said they would be here the next morning. The workers show up promptly at 9am, but Byron was not here, I asked the guys to let him know I wasn’t happy about that but we agreed they could start since it’s such a simple fix.

A while later Byron still hadn’t shown up and the workers told me he was out getting supplies for the drain, that’s fine. At 2pm I call the office to let them know the workers are gone, I haven’t seen Byron and now the original drain line is leaking at the unit!!!! I was furious to say the least. They couldn’t even get this simple fix right and I have no idea why they came over without the supplies to fix the issue when I told them it was no rush!!!!!!!!

I am now scheduled to have Ricky come in the morning. I am confident he will be able to solve my issue but I sincerely hope I never have another issue while under warranty. If I do I’ll probably just pay an actual professional to come fix the problem.

Routine checkup AC system. Rick was my tech. Professional checkup with company I have used for several locations that we have owned through the years. Rick may have saved our lives ! During his visit found furnace vent leak in attic furnace that was unknown to us ! Large separation of vent elbow that could have leaked carbon monoxide into upstairs tv room if left untreated . Rick spotted vent separation while looking for problems in our AC / furnace setup . We sincerely appreciate the care and expertise of this awesome technician at a company I have known for years. New residence for second year back in Denton with a great company . Thank you so much for your quality people , we have never been disappointed.

Byron and his team were incredibly professional and quick. We have used their services twice. They replaced our downstairs unit with a more efficient unit, and a year later our upstairs unit went out. Both times, they were quick and efficient, and they also followed-up to make sure everything was working properly. They do routine maintenances check ups and are very fast. Each member of the team is very professional and very nice. I would definitely recommend Cogburn's!
