We have been a customer of Walker for more than 5 years. However, our last experience was very frustrating. We've tried to resolve for almost 2 months. We haven't received a call back in almost a month now and other HVAC companies have the part we need and can install. Walker claims the part it no longer made by Carrier. Which I've verified with Carrier it is. Have to spoke to head of parts, who has not called me back in 1 month and left 4 messages for head of customer service with no call back. Instead of having part covered under warranty by Walker, we now have to pay full price with another company. Walker even installed our system in 2016.
Allen took the time to go over all my options. I was very comfortable working with him and finding the right solution. He’s very knowledgeable and had everything working again quickly.
Herbert was the tech that responded to my call. I explained to him what my ac system was doing and he conducted his diagnostic tests. Herbert resolved the problem with my unit and i have not had anymore issues with it. Herbert was very professional and courteous while assisting me with my ac issues. Company sent text about time of arrival, plus photo of tech. Tech arrived on time. Very courteous and professional. Explained what he was going to do and took time to d a thorough job. Recommend their service.
If I could give Walker less than 1 star I would. I had and entire brand new A/C unit installed 7/2020 ( Should've went with Willard) and have had soooo many issues but this last issues was it. After multiple service calls within the last few weeks finally found out that I have an evaporator coil leak which the part is covered by the manufacturer but I have to pay for the labor over $1900.00. As a consumer this sounds ridiculous....after paying 10k for a new unit less than 2 years ago. The part is faulty by the manufacturer and all Walker could say well you only had 1 year labor warranty. Their responses was soooo generic and robotic. This is a WARNING ⚠️ DO NOT use their service. Since they've been bought out the service is HORRIBLE. You measure a Company's service by how they resolve the issues outside normal everyday problems. I have multiple properties that use Walker not anymore. I'm going to post and warn consumers on every platform about their terrible service!
Samier Martinez is a polite and professional worker. After completing his work he also informed me of other services offered by his comoany, without being pushy or overbearing about trying to sell me on it. Because of this, should I need these services in the future I will be sure to call this company.
