Marco and Leo were phenomenal. They arrived on time, we’re super helpful in finding a solution for my heating issues during the coldest week of the winter and honestly we’re genuinely really cool dudes. I just moved to Texas from NY and am a first time home owner so I had zero clue on how houses work. So thank you for expediting the appointment, thank you for coming and checking out the issues, and thank you for bearing with the tundra we’re having to endure
Coppell Heating and Air Conditioning has been our go-to company for many years now. Local, honest and fair. Tracy has been our tech the last couple visits and he couldn’t be nicer or more informative. This is a local company we trust and hope continues serving Coppell for many years to come.
We have been a customer for over 20 years, from purchase of our systems to all the maintenance. The staff is professional and courteous and their employee retention appears to be very strong which says a lot. Would highly recommend.
I believe the C-Team initially showed up for my new A/C furnace install. Just generally sloppy work, excessive noise (why are you singing out loud in my house when its clear I'm working), lack of craftmanship, etc. Upon bringing this up I don't believe the company handled the situation well.
Eventually the A-Team fixed all of the issues and I'm pleased with the end result.
The 1 star is because all of the additional time I spent and just generally because of how sideways (trust me they'd give me one star too) I got with management over what could have been remedied in a more professional manner. One example is some work that wasn't originally scoped (new main drain line). I mentioned I wanted this for fear the 37 year old line could crack and leak into my ceiling - It wasn't until we we're already at odds that it was mentioned that this is normally is accomplished via a change order and additional charge. I would have been happy to go this route if it wasn't in scope, but that was the first time it was brought to my attention in that manner.
If you look at other 1 star reviews you can start to see that narrative throughout. Basically a great company, until its not, in which case things spiral.
UPDATE: I pulled a few punches, but now that the business has chosen to continue, I'll add some meat on why I did ask for money back after I wasted so much time.
1. Damage to the bottom of the unit itself upon installation - Thanks for giving me $150 off after I mentioned it three times! 2. Damage to my wall in hallway to attic. Fresh damage to the trim in the hallway. 3. Timing - 4 trips to get the job done. 3 trips to the hardware store on the 1st day because of lack of adequate planning and equipment. 4. The real winner though is when I was told everything looked great, but really there was a leak in the unit itself that had to be taken apart and resealed.
I think their response really speaks for itself though. Save yourself the time and aggravation and go with a different company.
UPDATE 2: Reply from owner below was updated. Wish I would have screen printed the first one because the tone was more of what I experienced. We did discuss never working together again in their office (while I was "throwing a fit") for which they gracefully already refunded $150 for the 2 yearly visits. I'll continue to monitor and update as the narrative changes.
The technician, Braulio Meraz, that took care of our AC problem was awesome and fun to deal with, and Coppell Heating and Air was very responsive when we let them know we were having AC issues.
Tracy was so pleasant to work with! He was very attentive and responsive to our needs. He was professional and very courteous and assessed the problem immediately. His attention to detail was excellent. He gained our trust right away. Highly recommend!
I called Coppell Heat and Air for a heater repair. Their technician Tracy was prompt, courteous and professional. He explained the problem and the rationale for the repair. I was very satisfied and thought the price was very reasonable. I highly recommend Coppell Heat and Air!
These guys are the best !!!! We were having electrical work done and the vendor accidentally damaged our AC lines on one of the hottest days of the year. I called Austin and his team around 12-1:00. They responded quickly and had our system repaired by the time the electrician was ready to reconnect power. Excellent response time and great service as usual. Please don’t hesitate to use Coppell AC and Heating whenever you have the need. They won’t let you down !!!!
Had new technician this time. Leo, he did an excellent job, had great customer service and technical skills. I'm asking that he becomes my service technician of choice for all future maintenance visits.
Braulio Marez made second effort to fix problem after first try didn’t work. He was on time, professional and shared thoughts on how to prevent issue in the future.
