While it took awhile to get the needed part, Keith Henry (HVAC tech) was knowledgeable, informative, and kept me up to date on when he knew the parts would arrive as well as his availability so I could schedule the heating repair around my work schedule.

I was referred to this company by a friend-we contacted them to fix our A/C. They sent out a technician and was able to quote what time they would be able to be there which was great. After evaluating the system, the tech diagnosed the issue to be the electrical board. Unfortunately, they had to overnight the part. We were unable to stay in our home since it was in the middle of the summer-so we had to find another place to stay with our 2 young children. A different person came the next day with the part to replace it the next afternoon. When he replaced the part it did not fix the problem, it was then determined the problem had been diagnosed incorrectly. It was actually the overflow sensor and they were able to fix the problem that afternoon. Thankfully, they did not charge us the diagnosis fee only the cost of the fix since it was diagnosed incorrectly the first time. We then had another issue with the a/c locking up just recently and were hesitant to call, but since they ended up doing the right thing by us we thought we would give them another opportunity. They sent the tech out and he ran a test on the system noted an error code being provided, but said that he was not sure what could be causing it. He clean the condenser, but stated it will probably do it again so just call them when it happens again. I was charged $200 for this. It happened within 30 minutes of us being home that night-I called the after-hours number and was told we would have to continue to reset the breaker until tomorrow afternoon. They stated they would call me in the morning to get me on the schedule. I didn’t hear from them in the morning so I called and after an hour they called and said they could be there in an hour. After an hour, my husband and the NEW technician were able to determine the fan needs to be replaced. Of course, they had to order the part. They had charged me for the 1st visit where nothing was done to fix the problem. So when they realized they diagnosed the problem incorrectly the 1st time they told my husband they would discuss with the owner in regards to the charges since the only thing we would be paying is the labor as the part in under warranty. Also, due to the problem not getting fixed this meant all weekend long we had to continue to reset the breaker about every 30 minutes to an hour and hope the fan would make it through the weekend. There were a couple of times over the weekend that the system would not restart even when the breaker was reset and I had a toddler with a fever of 103.5. It definitely was not settling knowing we may have to pack up and get a hotel if it would not come back on. If this had been fixed the first time we would not have had this worry. Luckily, we were not faced with that we just had to wait 30 minutes for the fan to cool down. One good thing was they stated they could replace the item without someone there at the home so we wouldn’t have to miss more work. However, when my husband asked what the charges would be they said normally they would be $250, but they would only charge us half. If this would have been diagnosed and fixed correctly like it should have been the first time I only would have paid $250.00 not $325.00. My husband called the owner and the owner did not express concern nor that they were incorrect for sending an inexperienced tech to diagnose problems to then send a real tech that would then actually find the problem and eventually fix it. On top of everything, the technician did not latch our back gate properly and unfortunately our dog got out we spent over an hour looking for him. Thank goodness we got lucky and found him. This company caused us stress and wasted our money and time sending out a tech that can’t fix anything to then follow up with a technician that can fix something. I will not be using this company again.

It is my fault for giving this company a second chance. However, on two different jobs, they have been unprofessional by not showing up on time or working full days, sometimes only a couple of hours per day. The installment takes multiple days as opposed to the usual 1 day installment. Both times there have also been parts that were waiting for to arrive that they used as excuses for further delays. This company is one to be avoided at all costs.

I've used Aggieland Climate Control for the past three years. They are professional, prompt, and fairly priced.
Too many others that I've worked with in the area were none of those things.

Serviced our unit and took close to 4 hours just to clean out the drains and replace the fuses which cost $150. Come home to find that my bathroom was completely covered in dirt. Upon calling back to ask about all of my ruined toiletries and the mess, I was told there was no way to anticipate this and that I was liable for all the expenses. Another take the money and run company.

I thought they were great last time; this time I did not think they were clear enough in what they told me. It is reasonably old AC but should still have some life in it. I understood they had to add refrigerant, but not until I read the receipt did I find they said I should replace the unit.
