Im unhappy with a number 1 air. Called at 4:37pm. My AC is not working. My house is 96 degrees. I called again at 6:37pm to get an ETA on when a tech will arrive. I was told I would receive a call within the hour. I understand busy. Its now 8:30pm and no tech. I tried calling. No answer. The website says 24/7 but I dont think its really is. Now im in the heat with tomorrow being the hottest day for the year. Im very disappointed. I will seek other business for help.

Paid 7800.00 for new ductwork 1 year and 1week ago. Never insulated the boots, which are the metal part attached to the vents. Now we have water stains around the vents from condensation. Called them, don't want to take responsibility. Paying another company to come out and fix their oversight. Do not use this company.

Last August 2022 performed AC maintenance tuneup. Last week I received a call from accounting saying I only paid half of the invoice. Which is strange because I've always paid in full due to common sense during a service.

They will not leave until you pay in full. I am irate until Accounting removes whatever they are talking about.

DO NOT USE, unless you want headaches and stress. NEVER AGAIN. C- - -, treats you like it’s your fault on everything. A lot of these sales people and workers sell their souls and honesty for the company.

The installers left old duct work in my attic that was supposed to be removed. They were also supposed to wear shoe coverings while working in our home and did not and per their agreement they offer to provide their services for free if they fail to do so.

Be advised that their service technicians are actually sales people. While the job got done, no one has contacted me to verify my satisfaction.

I purchased a new AC unit from A#1 Air in 2015.

Every year my unit freezes and every year i
I have to pay hundreds of dollars in repairs and freon. Some years it takes several trips from different service technicians to diagnose a problem. Today we spent over 700.00.

With the money that I have spent in repairs over the years plus the money we pay for your service membership we could have purchased a quality unit from a reputable company that stands by their product and provides a warranty with actual coverage.

I have never been so disappointed in a product, a company and the service provided. What a waste of money.

“Guaranteed right day or night” and “100% satisfaction guarantee” are words that you have never stood behind.

Horrible, if your ac isn’t working do not call these guys. Takes more than two days to take a technician to come out. That’s giving them credit!

If you value your time, money and peace of mind do not use this company. They came out to check our A/C and told us two of our units were old with many repaired parts and they needed additional repairs to be ready for the hot summer season. Since I am pregnant my sweet husband wanted to make sure I had A/C this summer so we decided to be proactive and replace the two units. We will never be proactive as home owners again. A sales person called us before the end of the month with “specials” and offered us two thousand off to purchase before the end of the month (which was in just a few days). We purchased the units and had them installed. We have owned these units for 10 days and had approximately 6 separate service calls to this company. Each time they come out, discover a problem then repair a part or something. Each time we have to call back and explain we are having another new issue they want to put us in the repair line with everyone else when should receive priority since we are having issues with brand new equipment. If I could go back in time I would NEVER buy new units and especially would never, ever recommend this company, not even to my worst enemy. I have talked to every department with nothing more than “sorry” and I even called Michael Witten, who is supposedly one of their high up guys, two days in a row with no returned call. This has truly been a nightmare. Either the equipment they use is faulty or their technicians (who are very polite) are completely incompetent. We have even had supervisors and lead technicians out on several of these calls. I now have two brand new units with multiple repairs parts that still aren’t working. I hope if you are considering giving your hard earned money to any entity of this company you will reconsider.
