I received multiple quotes for service to repair a failed air conditioning unit in our older, 1977, home. Since it was an older unit, this also entailed replacing our furnace. Several other people recommended Mize to me, saying that the price may be higher but the service will be exceptional. As promised, Donald was incredibly thorough in his assessment, but to my surprise, he also produced a very competitive bid.

Throughout the work, several other issues arose that required attention, but Donald was very respectful of our budget and helped me understand my options and what needed to be done and what could wait. From the beginning, communication was excellent and the customer service was outstanding.

We are incredibly pleased with the outcome, and our house is far more comfortable (and efficient). I cannot say enough good things about the experience working with Donald. When we need future service, we will be sure to start with Mize.

I can not express how much we are thankful for Mize Heating and Air Conditioning! last night (6/5/18) our condenser stopped working around 6pm and after about 90 minutes we started to notice the HVAC system was blowing but not cooling and removing moister. So I called them and got Donald Mize who was working late as he said was normal at this time of year. He offered to swing by as it was on his way home and showed up 30 minutes from the time I called. in a few minutes time he found the problem, a seized fan motor and went back to his shop to get a replacement. All said and done, we had our AC working again by about 9pm! This is going above and beyond in my book. Mize does our yearly service and is about as honest as they get. when I think something needs to be replaced they will tell me it does not and explain why. they could easily just take my money. So thanks to three generations of local family HVAC business!

We have used Mize Heating & AC for almost a decade. They have always responded when called and have worked until the issue is resolved. They explain the problem and clearly articulate the choices. We have always been more than satisfied.

They said that they didn't need my business and wouldn't come to Navasota. Was not impressed. It was a blessing that they refused me though as I then found Wright AC who had no problem driving even further to help me.
