    Once again Totally Cool exceeded expectations. Jeff came to do a maintenance check on the A/C. He's friendly, VERY knowledgeable and explained what he was doing and taught me a little about how A/Cs actually cool and dehumidify the air - cuz I'm a nerd that way. I've used these folks for many years and recommended them to many others. Highly recommend them!

    Totally Cool took good care of us through the process of putting in a new AC and furnace. Mark was straight forward about the options, pricing and timeframe. Their pricing was very reasonable allowing us to choose a two stage system inside and out. We had them insulate and seal up cracks, taking advantage of the city rebate program. They took care of dealing with the city and Austin Energy. Their crews were professional and courteous and they followed up during the whole process making sure everything was right. We are very happy that we made the decision to upgrade our unit with Totally Cool. The new system is so much quieter and cools the house more evenly. Tom Fleshman

    I'm very happy I went with Totally Cool to replace my AC unit. I did my research and knew what I wanted and the expected cost. They were very knowledgeable, friendly, and answered all my questions. Their price was in the ballpark for what I expected to pay, unlike the other bids I received. They did a great job and my home is comfortable again. I will recommend them to all my friends and family.

    My AC suddenly stopped turning on. I called and a technician was at my house within an hour. He quickly found what caused the initial problem, but was thorough in making sure there wasn't a secondary problem. He caught another big issue that I wasn't aware of and did a great job explaining what it was while never trying to upsale me. I will definitely recommend this company to anyone needing repairs.

    I chose these guys over 3 other AC companies because they were the cheapest and Mark explained the different options and prices without trying to up sell. He was very flexible with me wanting to get a heat pump hybrid system and even recommended installing another register in a room that gets a hot spot. He was not a high pressure salesman with fancy brochures and high prices. Other bids were asking 3-4 thousand more dollars. Shelley works in the office and was extremely good about communication and was polite. Anthony has been in the business for 16 years and was very knowledgeable and nice. He did the final walk through with me.

    Our AC stopped working, totally Cool came out the same day, diagnosed the problem. They made an attempt to reset the hipressure valve to try and fix the issue at a low cost. The reset didn’t hold and they needed to replace the outside fan. They were back the very next day and fixed everything. AC works great. Really appreciate a company that offers and tries a lower cost alternative rather than just going straight to replacement. The bill came in cheaper than expected and was extremely fair. Great experience over all and will be a repeat customer.

    Anthony is very knowledgeable about ac units and gave us a lot of info about our unit. He checked out our ac system and added coolant to our system. We enjoyed meeting him. Everyone at Totally Cool is so nice and helpful, and we are so glad we can depend on them.

    Totally Cool diagnosed my ac issue and quoted @ $1,300. I authorized the repair, and was greeted by a different technician for the repair. Without looking at my ac im immediately told he doesnt believe their diagnosis was correct, although I still had to pay for their mid-diagnosis. He went on to say he’s a 20yr veteran and is actually about to buy the company. He very confidently claims he’s gonna take a look and get me up and running for way less than $1,300. I said I will stay out of your way but would like to ask occasionally questions to learn about my system. He has no problem talking to me, but he does say soo much technical jargon, could make your head swim. During his diagnosing he changed his mind 3 times, yet again wants to say im a 20yr veteran, about to buy the company, and u can look me up online...he had a nickname for himself. At one point his 3rd idea is apparently wrong, he gets frustrated with me for watching and threatens to just walk off on the job! I had to ensure him i’m just watching to learn and your the pro, please move ahead and do the repair. I had my own r-22 they agreed to use if needed. He believed it was not the reversing valve diagnosed originally, but simply my blower motor fins were too dirty creating restriction, and wanted to clean my coils and increase fan speed. He drained system of my r-22 then said he could not put it back in. Not sure why he took it out anyway! So he offered to save me $ and replace it with the drop-in refrigerant MO99, for only $50! I told him to either use my own tank of r-22 or his proposed MO99, and I’d leave it to his expertise. He went with MO99...AC lasted about 3 weeks and no longer works. New company noted on their paperwork that previous company left no indication of them putting MO99 in system as required, compressor locked-up and when a drop-in replacement is not done properly your compressor will cease up.
