Got same day service when so many places said they were booked weeks out. John was great, very professional, clean and safe. Took him less than 20 minutes to replace my fan. Highly recommend, I will definitely use them again for any home electrical needs.

I first reached out to Efficient Plumbing last winter (after reading their online reviews) when I had to get a new gas heater installed. The guys were reasonable, professional, courteous and punctual. Then, this year I got my evap serviced and my split system installed and the experience was great again. They even cleaned up after they were done, it was like they were never there.
Don't remember the names of the guys in their who installed the heater or would have written their names as well. James, Kirsten and Tyson were all great when they were here a few weeks back doing the service and install. And not to forget, Kudos to your team members who installed the gas heating last year.

John came over to repair a wire that I had drilled into (and lost power to most of the garage and kitchen) while trying to find the studs to install a cabinet. He was very helpful in listening to my concerns, answering my questions, and providing solutions to fix the issue and even marked the studs out for me. He was professional and cared about the work (even as a smaller job)...qualities that seem to becoming harder to find these days. I felt very confident with him and would absolutely use and recommend Efficient for future electrical projects.

I’ve worked with Arthur and Robert at Efficient for two different calls, both came quickly for after hours service, were really friendly and helpful. Arthur explained what he was doing to test and correct the system issue. When Robert came it was just that our condenser was really dirty and quit running, he worked quickly to get us back up and running but also explained to me what he was doing and the usual maintenance needs, which was really helpful as a first time home owner. Efficient is my go to.
Carolyn’s Sister Can’t Cook
This is an edit of my original review. Although, the tech who showed up did show up on time and performed a small task of replacing an outlet on the outside of the older building, I was told we would be given estimates for work needed in 1 apartment and to have the multiple breaker panels replaced on the building. I have called and spoken with James who said, "we really don't do much with those old wall unit heaters anymore but I will get back to you the week of the 13th." Never heard anything back. I also called the "master electrician " leaving 2 messages on Kelly's voice-mail.... no response. If you don't want to do the job... at least have the professional ethic to admit to it. Likely, there will be a computer generated response to my negative review. So disappointing as we have multiple properties that will be needing services. If anyone knows of a great company who isn't afraid of working on some of the older buildings, not falling down, in Austin... let me know!

First, I would like to say that I would recommend Efficient for anyone who is having a new AC system installed. They installed my inside/outside combo unit quickly and did a great job, at what I feel is a fair price, which is why I gave 2 stars instead of 1. It is post install where you should look elsewhere, and why I took 3 stars off my review.
I called Efficient because the same unit they installed stopped blowing cold air. The tech charged a $99 diagnostic fee, which I understand. This is pretty normal. Then he told me he needed to replace a capacitor (which was covered by warranty) and the labor would be $360. I told him to go ahead, having no idea how long that would take. Almost exactly 15 minutes later the tech calls me saying he is done, and needs my credit card info. 15 MINUTES later...
I asked why $360 if it only took 15 minutes, and he told me they work off a flat rate, not hourly. This is where I have an issue. If this job had taken 2-3 hours, I would get that rate. But charging customers $360 for a 15 minute repair is outrageous.
I also get that it was an after hours repair, which has a higher charge. And I am fine with paying a premium for service on the weekend. But this is beyond any reasonable price in my opinion. Even during regular hours the tech said it would be $240 for the same job. That is still $960/hr., which is an extremely terrible value.
They say they use a rate to keep prices consistent for all of their customers, but that doesn't add up. The charge to me works out to $1,440 /hr. Someone who has a 3 hour repair would pay $120/hr. So how exactly does that make it consistent for all customers? All this shows me is that the price is consistently horrible for any customers with a quick repair. So in conclusion, this was probably the least value of any service I have ever received.

I have used Efficient for plumbing issues, install new AC thermostat and install new kitchen and bathroom light fixtures. They were excellent in all three categories. Always on time. Extremely professional and polite and their work is exemplary! I would highly recommend them for your service needs

I'm really happy with this company. I usually dread working with contractors but this was a great experience. They had availability the very next day, came out on time and repaired the problem in less than an hour. Very reasonably priced as well. Will definitely use again for any electrical needs.
