Alamo Austin Air

We saw Alamo Austin Air working on a home down the street from us and stopped to get a card as our HVAC had just bought the farm after 25 years. We were given a card by a very friendly and professional Alamo Air associate.

After arranging a consultation with another friendly professional, we received a competitive proposal promptly and accepted on receipt. The work was scheduled quickly, and the installation team arrived on time, completed the install beautifully and efficiently and the clean up of their work areas was impeccable! The project went perfectly! These guys deserve your business... ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND ALAMO AIR!!

We worked with Jason for the original quote, pricing options, and scheduling. He was very patient and timely with responses via email. Chris and his team came out as scheduled and were just swell. He even bonded with our very protective dog. My husband and I were able to work from home while they performed the necessary updates and installation. They consistently communicated their progress throughout the day. Overall, we were extremely pleased with the amazing customer service and the product works great!

Five plus stars! We had a great experience having a mini-split installed by Alamo Austin Air. Jason came by to do a walk through and give us an estimate within 2 days of my initial phone call. Then he and his team came just a few days later for the install. They were extremely prompt and worked well together. They did a great job of clean up and explaining how the unit works. We recommend them highly for all the services they offer.

I have nothing but great things to say about Alamo Austin Air. Jason, Chris, and team installed a second thermostat with a zoning board and automatic dampers and it made all the difference to keep the temperature balanced between upstairs and downstairs. I had a few different companies come out to take a look/give us a quote and Alamo was the most thorough, the most respectful, and due to this we felt most comfortable giving them our business. They did a fantastic job! Also, Adrian recently came out and fixed an issue with our system (clogged drain line) and did a fantastic job. He was super respectful, communicative, and got us up and running quickly. We recently signed up for their preventative maintenance program, so needless to say we trust Alamo Austin Air all of our heating and AC needs in our home

We absolutely loved our experience with Alamo Austin Air and will definitely be long term customers. Jason came out to give us a quote on my parent's new-to-them house. He was thorough in his inspection and recommendations on what needed to be done and when my parents had more questions he came back out to ensure they we completely comfortable. Every person on the team from Danielle and Lisa in the office to the technician Chris who completed the install has been friendly, detail oriented, and professional. Can't recommend them enough!

I had a great experience working with Alamo Austin Air, from the initial consult to the install and process finalization. The owner was very helpful and willing to go the extra mile to make sure I was comfortable with my selection of system. He was responsive and even got on the phone with me to tie up some last-minute questions I had. The install was a smooth process, and they left everything in tip-top shape. I would highly recommend this company.

It is clear this company cares about their customers and the outcome of their work. Every interaction with Jason's team was clear, transparent and geared toward making sure I was able to make an informed decision. I had an issue with my furnace that was not an obvious issue, the team spent several hours diagnosing it. During their check of the systems they found a few issues in how it was installed. As a result, they fixed my furnace and the setup, it has never worked better. Based on this, I asked what it would take to move my AC around the side of my house so I could add landscaping to rear of house. I got very fair quote, we agreed on a date and Jason came out with member of his team and found an issue with how my AC was setup. Now my AC works better than it ever has and no longer an eyesore in my backyard. Another win! Highly recommend using Alamo Austin Air!

First this is nothing to do with the technician - Adrian and Miguel showed up on time ready to go....

The issue is the SCAM this business is running. I spoke 3 times to schedule the visit: first for pricing, then to set the appt, then to confirm the appt. Each time, I confirmed the pricing - $199 for AC and Furnace. Only to have the technician turn up and tell me its now double because there are 2 systems....but I confirmed previously about my systems size, number of AC units, house size, etc, and was assured the price was $199...

Clearly they wait till they get to the front door to tell you about price changes so they can pressure you into saying yes for higher fees.

Sad to say, but AVOID....either they aren't listening to you when you tell them the specs so give you an incorrect price OR they intentionally dont give you the right price up front and SCAM you later.

Update: Danielle called apparently after reading this review - rather than ask what happened or apologize for the mis-understanding - she is more concerned about the language of my review. I wrote what I feel is an accurate summary of the situation - including discussion over number of units. Alamo is free to write their rebuttal, but I stand by what I wrote

I can't say enough good things about Jason, Chris, and everyone else at Alamo. They did an amazing job and I know it wasn't easy. They worked tirelessly to remove an old system and install our new system and it works perfectly. Jason was very thorough in the consultation and his quote was by far the easiest to read out of the others we looked at. Not only that, they are competitively priced and quickly able to schedule the install appointment. We've had a great experience and would highly recommend!!

We had a great experience with Alamo Austin Air. Nothing but good things to say. We had a ductless mini split put in our garage. Jason went above and beyond from start to finish. During the initial consultation he took time to explain all available options and answered all my questions through text and email. He also took time to address another issue we were having with our hvac system during consultation. He has outstanding customer service.
