Curtis was phenomenal! Courteous and professional. We made an appointment and had our issue fixed the same day. Pedestal sink in our half-bath was leaking water from the pipe underneath whenever we would use it, and we'd been avoiding using it for a while because of the issue. Decided it was time to fix it. Curtis came out, identified the issue, and had it fixed and back up and running in a timely manner. Very informative and helpful when explaining the problem and what caused it. Would absolutely use Abacus and Curtis again for any other plumbing issues we have, highly recommended!!

A lightning strike on my home prompted my call for evaluation and service. Gabe and Alex did a very thorough whole-house electrical inspection and replaced two 3-way switches and a faulty GFCI. Both Gabe and Alex were very professional and they spent quite a while reviewing the findings with me. Thanks!

Very honest. The company as a whole was reliable and highly professional, and priced fairly. Did not give up on my older home, with its strange wiring, until the job was done. Responded to my concerns promptly and did not hesitate to bring in experienced pros for more complex tasks. I would most definitely choose them again because of the courteous and professional way they handled a difficult situation.

Abacus was very responsive and got us on the schedule quickly. Donnie showed up promptly and offered honest feedback about the work we were requesting. When we agreed on the work to do – a single outlet in our pantry – he got to work immediately. Great job, the outlet looks like it’s always been there! We have a few other tasks to do around the house later and Abacus will be our first call.

Great company to deal with. They give you notice when the electric technician will show up. Alex Zuniga was extremely knowledgeable and was able to diagnose the problem quickly. He gave me options to resolve the issue and got me back on track. Highly recommend.

Eddie was great! I had a new tub spout installed and he was fast and friendly. Price was fair and they didn’t charge a trip fee. Setting the appointment was easy as well. I’d definitely recommend them!

Company communicates pretty well. I requested service online a few days out, the morning of, they texted and confirmed appointment and time. Sent me a picture of the tech and approximately when he would arrive.
Mel was very straightforward with me. I wanted my self installed garage mini split looked at for a leak and refill. I was also interested in (after he described) the maintenance package for my 2 main a/c units and he was able to fit in that maintenance that day.
The only negative I would have to say was the sales/scare tactic of the parts he did find worn or failing. I'm more into just tell me what you found and suggest to replace. Telling me how it will 'fail next week' is just hype. Maybe it will or maybe it will run another year+, it's a guess at best. For this, minus 1 star.
Being an engineer, the mechanics and replacement of parts don't scare me, but its the experience and knowledge that I want to pay for. Mel definitely has that and I will continue with Abacus.

Just used abacus for a very minor plumbing repair that I thought was going to be more extensive. I had a leaking hose bib and had it on my to do list for way too long. I had been meaning to DIY, but it kept getting blown off so I finally caved and called the pros.

The scheduling was very easy and everyone I spoke to was super nice. The plumber who visited was very friendly and cordial. I have no complaints with the staff or the service.

The reason for the 3 stars is the price. They charged $250.00 to replace one hose bib. If I had only known just how simple it was, I definitely would have done it myself. It literally took the plumber less than 5 minutes to shut off the water, and replace the hose bib. 5 minutes of work, a $15 part, and max 20 minutes of travel time cost $250.00. It took the plumber longer to collect payment on his Ipad than it took him to perform the repair. I made a huge mistake accepting the estimate, and that's on me, but its still crazy that they charge this for such a simple repair. If they charge this for a 5 minute repair, what do they charge for something that takes hours?

If you need to replace your hose bibs, just YouTube it and figure it out, it's not worth the mental anguish of losing $250 just to avoid doing 15 minutes of work.

Learn from my mistake, make my $250 that went down the drain worth it.

I had a great first time experience with Abacus. I was trying to get a quote on installing a Tesla wall charger. The technician they sent out, Gabe was really knowledgeable, thorough with the inspection, and provided me with multiple options. Overall, Gabe was a pleasure to work with!

Alex went above and beyond to fix our lights! It started with one light switch and as we spoke I realized there were more that had the same problem which he graciously looked at and repaired. He also looked at our refrigerator light which has been flickering and looked up information about repairs for me which was so kind. Now we have new light switches that stay on properly and will look into appliance repair for the refrigerator light. Thank you so much to Alex for his great help!!
