I called this company yesterday for washer repair. I was scheduled for service between 3-5 today. They were a no show/no call until 7:15. He offered to come out at that time of night which I agreed. I asked him about the appointment and he chuckled and said "jobs". Then he said that as I was disappointed (I never said I was disappointed) he said "Let's not. I will allow you to find someone else". Very unprofessional.
I called and was given a prompt appointment to evaluate my dishwasher. On the day of the appointment I get a text asking to move it to the next day. On the next day I get a text to expect him to be late. After the appointment time I get a phone call saying he wanted to come an hour late. I said, 'I guess so', and then he said 'You know what? I'm cancelling. You'll find somebody else.' My opinion is you will need a full-time house sitter to accommodate appointments for Biggs Service Company.
Greg came to assess our broken double oven. He was the third serviceman to look at the issue. The first didn’t even really look at it. The second said they had to order a part. A month after, after not hearing back, they said they wouldn’t be able to fix it after all. I called Biggs and reached Greg. He came the next day, truly looked at the problem, gave us a reasonable solution to actually be able to fix the oven. Then he advised us a way to fix our issue that would actually result in him making less money. I am impressed with this company and this serviceman. We have a lot of rental properties and work with a lot of repairmen and contractors. Finding one who has integrity, promptness, professionalism, and extensive knowledge is rare!! We will be using this company again.
Gregg was able to work me in on the same day I called. He fixed my whirlpool washer and pretty much knew what the issue was and was upfront with price. Very nice guy and will call on him again.
Never met the guy. Drove to my house but never got out of his truck. Told me he was too busy to help me because I was too busy helping my young son goto the bathroom when he called while in my driveway. Checked his website and didn’t see any disclaimer stating will not go knock on your door when he arrives and will only honk his horn or call your cellphone. One star for being responsive to requesting help for my ac. Edit after Gary’s response: I did in fact respond to his text asking if he was at my house. I said he was. I went to my front door and didn’t see him. I walked onto my front entry to check to see his truck. I didn’t. So I walked to my back door which also has a circular driveway. I didn’t see his truck. I glance at my phone a see my camera showing he parked near my garage. So I walk to my garage and open it. No truck as he had already left. I check my phone and see missed calls. I call him and he immediately begins to berate me on not answering my phone. Never had anyone I call for service or even for delivery and them arrive at my home and not knock on my door. I wouldn’t have written a review if he hadn’t yelled at me on the phone for not answering a phone call. I’m glad he refused service so I didn’t have to deal with him trying to finish his sell of a whole new hvac unit he had tried to prepare me for by diagnosing my issue based off the description I gave over the phone. He was where he said he would be when he said he would be so I’m not sure why I would be so startled to assume I’d need a shotgun to confront a technician I was expecting at the exact time he said he would be at my home. I’d definitely help my toddler goto the bathroom again to help him instead of dealing with Gary again. Maybe he had a bad day but there’s no reason to berate me on the phone for expecting a service technician to come and knock on my door after verifying they were in fact at my house. Posting my address won’t change the fact he was unprofessional and I’m glad I never met him because of the way he treated me.
Biggs Appliances was a blessing! Greg took an extraordinary amount of time helping me fix my Samsung Refrigerator. He helped me order the necessary parts and walked me through the repair remotely via phone call. It’s rare to come across someone who is so patient and skilled at their craft! Thank you Biggs Appliances for helping me repair my Samsung Refrigerator!
Greg was very professional and explained in detail each step of how the HVAC system works and what could and could not be the problem.
Greg also gave us the option after he had discovered the problem to either have me go buy the part at a local handyman store and instal the part in which would cut down on the cost.
Or have him instal it which would cost much much more. Now you tell me where do you find people like that around anymore?
I will definitely definitely be calling Greg for any of my future mishaps or breakdowns. Thanks Greg!
I had dropped a lid from All detergent Pods down dryer vent. On top of dryer( lesson- always keep top of dryer cleaned off). Biggs service came out retrieved lid from Roper dryer. He even cleaned my dirty floor behind the dryer . He was friendly and very helpful. I will always use Biggs service.
I felt like Greg Biggs was honest and thorough. He helped me with my dishwasher over the phone.( It helps if u know how to start it. Lol) I highly recommend his services!
