Stephen showed up on time and nicely dressed eventhough it was a very hot day. He was very polite and respectful and did a quick diagnoses and found that our ac system was very low on refrigerant. He was not able to get the system running the first day because it was so late in the evening and more diagnostics were needed. Stephen showed up the next morning and charged the unit quickly. Our two story house began to cool down quickly and it was so nice. Before each service call I was texted by JW to let me know that a tech was on the way; I really liked this. I highly recommend JW Mechanical.

Alex Wright was the guy that serviced our A/C. I hate when companies give such a big time frame of when they'll be there. Mine for my date for service was 11-3. I was super surprised that I got a text at 10:51 saying Alex was on the way. He got there about 11:10. He was super professional and greeted me politely. I don't like people wearing shoes in my house but allow it from time to time, especially when there's a repair guy. I'm assuming a part of their work is putting on little booties before coming in the house. I love that! It didn't take him very long to figure out why my AC was leaking and he fixed it promptly. I would definitely hire this company again and hopefully all their employees are as professional as Alex.

I waited several days for them to come and fix my air conditioning system, which wasn't cooling off the house. They left asking us to wait a little to allow time for the system to cool off the house. Never did. Now I have to wait who knows how long for another technician. BAD SERVICE

Steven was very professional, swiftly discovered the problem with our a/c, and already had the part needed to fix it. After a night of sleeping in an 88-degree house, we were very grateful for Steven coming out here before 8am to get this taken care of! I would definitely use this company again.

After a few years of absolutely terrible AC experiences, finding JWMS has been great. Always honest and completely reasonable on their prices. We use their maintenance system as well and it is nice to have that taken care of without having to remember every six months. The ONLY down side was trying to remember Mechanical Systems instead of AC when I first started using them. :) They have my business as long as they want it.

I called them to request service since my AC unit for my second floor wasn’t working. Within hours I got a notification that they would be there in a matter of a few hours. I was about to board my plane back home from California. Not only were the quick in coming out by the time I landed in Dallas the AC was fixed and my kids were finally comfortable. I couldn’t believe the effectiveness, they have a customer for life!! I will definitely use them again and for any AC need.

Jonathan Paschall was extremely punctual and helpful. We had several issues, including parts replacement, and when he left after maybe two hours, all of the issues were not only resolved to or above expectations, but also explained thoroughly. Strongly recommended if you want a knowledgeable guy who is going to get the job done right the first time. Thanks Jonathan! (Give this man a bonus!)

My first experience with this company was through the warranty company to change a thermostat. They seemed great to work with and showed up as expected. When I had a different problem with my condensing unit, the warranty company sent out a different company even though I requested JW. The warranty company denied the claim (no surprise). So knowing I was going to have to pay out of pocket, I called JW because of prior good experience with them. The office staff and the techs are very pleasant and went out of their way to send a tech as quickly as possible since our A/C was out and it was smoldering outside. They came, diagnosed that all 3 circuit boards needed to be replaced. The previous company also diagnosed at least 1 board was out but not certain if all three were bad and couldn't make that call until they could get the system up and running, 1 circuit board at a time. The quote JW gave to replace the 3 boards was**** $4,200 **** because "allegedly" the parts weren't readily available and hard to find. Also said that if the boards didn't fix the problem, that I might have to replace the entire system and quoted approx $12,000 to do that. (4 ton 16 seer system) Well, I worked in the commercial HVAC/refrigeration business for over 10 years and I knew that was such inflated pricing that I told them I couldn't afford to spend that much. I asked Jeff to please send me the parts list and I would make some calls to parts suppliers I knew to see if I could find the parts and at a better price for them to install. He said he would send me the parts list but, of course, he never did. Using the serial and model number of my unit, I made some calls, got the price for the parts, got a tech referral and low and behold, not only were all the parts readily available, only 1 circuit board was bad, not all three and the cost to repair....$300. In addition, I also had the new tech put in a return in a room that didn't get enough airflow. He charged $375 to do it and JW quoted $1250 + tax to do it. Also, I priced the systems and it can all be replaced for less that $6500..... So it cost me $675 to do what they quoted over $5,500. I gladly paid the $675 and added $100 to the tech for being so honest. I wrote a letter to JW telling them how disappointed I was that this happened. I even gave them the benefit of the doubt that maybe his supplier had severely misquoted the parts price.... Mentioned how I had hoped I had found a good honest, professional and reliable company but it turned out to not be so...... and I told them how the issue was resolved. Have yet to receive a reply.
