I was having trouble with my A/C unit stalling and my apt wasn’t cooling inside. It was late at night so the first person I got a hold of was a guy from Precision. The fan motor was overheating so he replaced it. My A/C worked that night but that was it. So he came out the next day with another guy & neither of them could figure out what was wrong and left saying, “Sorry, we tried.”
This is when I called Nevel from Bevills who knew exactly what was wrong just after sending a few pictures of my fan motor and unit. It turns out there was a black wire hooked where there was suppose to be a red one which was causing the fan to run too fast and overheat. Nevel then came out and placed the wire in the correct spot and then checked inside to make sure everything was running right and at the correct temp.
I definitely recommend this company!

A neighbor spoke highly of Bevills, so when the a/c crashed at a condo in Abilene on Saturday, I went to their website. As the website requested, I completed their "contact us" feature and sent it to them with my contact info and this answer to "How may we help you?": (Here I've removed some identifying data]: "We have a Ruud A/C unit, model UAKA-024JAZ mfd 06/97. At [place]. Compressor won't kick in. Have decided to replace unit. Have bid for new install from one company. Want to find the best value Monday and get installation ASAP, preferably Monday also. The tenants are without AC. What brands do you install? Need a bid." They never responded, which made their reputation, in my view, plummet.

My family and even my parents have called on Bevills Plumbing, Heating & A/C for years. We have used them for a variety of projects. Several years ago we had a hot water line leak in our old concrete foundation. Instead of jack hammering they rerouted our line through the attic. They have installed an A/C unit, hot water heater, unclogged sewer lines and even replaced toilets. If their service technician happen to be running late from another job, they would give us a call. Bevills has always treated us fairly, when quoting us they have never tried to sell us more than what we needed for that project. Very pleased with their service, pricing and professional staff. When people ask me which plumbing, heating & A/C company I use, I tell them Bevills.

I would like to recommend Bevil's for coming after hours on Friday. They diagnosed the problem and ordered the equipment needed on Saturday and ou r fixed or problem on Monday. The price was exactly as quoted. Their technicians were very professional and very neat.

AHS picked bevills for my AC issues and they tried for 3 weeks to correct the issue to no avail. Eventually the bevills contractor called AHS and canceled the job and I still have no working A/C. This is 3 weeks 95 degree weather with a wife and 2 kids this is unacceptable. AHS's contract reps hooked me up with a different contractor from C-TEX he didn't even have to walk into my back yard and look at the unit he heard the problem before he saw it. He was professional and I feel extremely confident they will solve my problem in less than 3 weeks.
