I am incredibly frustrated with this company. I have been trying to get ahold of them after having them assigned for AHS. After multiple calls, I finally got a text, and was told they had availability on Thursday. I responded for confirmation that they would be out Thursday, to which they said they will send a text when it gets closer with a date and time. Makes absolutely no sense, they will not answer then phone to speak and will not answer any questions. If you get this company, do what you can to switch away from them. They are horrible to work with.
Will and Houston were awesome! Professional, quick, and took the time to show and explain things to me. I am 100% impressed and will both use and recommend 247America Air Conditioning and Will and Houston in the future! Great service!
Extremely disappointing. Please do not use this company! Trying to communicate with them to ask any kind of questions is extremely frustrating! I called and left a voicemail. I immediately received a text message asking how they could help which I responded to right away. It took 8 hours for a response to that text when my house had been at 90 degrees with a 4 month old child in the home. By the time she FINALLY responded to calls and texts I had already transferred service to a different company. They can’t come out for another day but I appreciate the honesty and started working on a plan B for my family! They don’t care about helping and have the WORST costumer service I have ever experienced.
We have a home warranty insurance. They set up for America Air Conditioning and Heating to come to our house and check on our air conditioning problem. America sent an email stating Will would be at our home between 11:45 and 1:45. I received a text about 11:40 stating he was on his way. He arrived at 11:45 and had are air conditioning up and running again by noon. Will was very nice and professional. I was impressed because most companies that give you a time window they always show up at the end of the window. "
I've never worked with a business that was more difficult to get ahold of over the phone. I'm currently working with them through American Home Shield (AHS). AHS Is of absolutely no help because they apparently need to discuss ordering parts with them on the phone and for any number of issues I'm having with the company. The American air conditioning customer service reps have been polite and respectful when I've been able to get ahold of them. Getting ahold of them has been unreasonablely difficult. I'm consistently sent to voicemail and recieve a canned text message from them asking how they can help me. I've responded to the text three times and gotten a simple response twice but never a call back. The response just states they will look into my question. I should also add that the technician sent out was very respectful as well.
Horrible customer service over phone. They use a cell phone for business. Will not ever call you back no matter how many messages you leave. Took from July 5th to July 31st to repair compressor. (Takes one hour). Came out and pulled my Freon out of AC and told me they had wrong part. Came back days later to repair it and charged 495.00 for Freon. They stoled 100% of my Freon then made me pay for more. These people scam. (Compressor had a wire short by the way, system was full) they should be investigated for fraud. Should definitely not be in business.
We had our fall pre-season check done on our home we recently purchased. The technicians that serviced our heat pump found some tweaks to be made to make our unit more efficient. They were professional and courteous. We will use this company again!
Their work is not to code!!! Worked with out warranty co and got stuck with This company. Warranty took a while to get parts in but once the part was in, the technician borrowed our tenants saw to cut a bolt on the condenser to make everything fit back together. He left exposed wiring on the top of the AC unit and when the company was questioned they said "it's Normal, just don't let the kids touch it or put up a fence." Repair didn't last /4 hours and we had to call again. Again the tech left the wiring outside the unit exposed. Eventually we had to call the city inspector who came out and confirmed this was not to code and the Company finally agreed to fix it to code as it should have been done the first time. I'm hoping this most recent repair last more than 24 hours.

Next time they came out, the lines leading into the house as well as inside the unit was frozen. They said they couldn't do anything till it was thawed. Meanwhile the heat index yesterday was 109. Our inside is sitting at 91 degrees by the way. The NEXT time they came out he finally went inside the house (first time since the last 3 prior visits in a week) to see and actually look in the attic. Told us the coil has a leak and freon is leaking. He said he will call and give us status on what to do next to repair, haven't heard from them. We Called back, no status but the old "waiting on technician report". Today its 102 outside, 91 inside, no word on status. 500 dollars later on window units, fans and whatever else we can do to try and have some sort of circulating air, we will now wait the weekend out to hopefully hear back by Tuesday. I have a child with Asthma who is struggling because of the heated hot conditions in the house and yet we wait on this company for what??? We literally had to buy a window unit to stick in his room so he can cope with this heat index of God knows what in our house now. I will update daily as we continue to wait.
This rating would be negative stars if Google would allow that. American A/C and Heating customer service is 0%. Contacted them through my home warranty company because our A/C stopped running in 98F weather. Was told they didn't have any techs that day, but would send someone out the following day. Tech showed up at the end of his 2 hour appt window. Told my wife that there was nothing wrong, that we needed to change our filter, and that the 3 inches of ice build up on the coils was normal. As soon as I got home from work I called their office and get them to send someone back out to actually do their job. Was told they didn't have any appointments left that day. Asked why they advertise 24/7 and was told they just couldn't support it right now. Was given a new appointment the following day between 4-6 pm. Technician never showed up. No one will answer the office phone or the number for the technician that I was given. Save yourself that hassle and find a better company for your HVAC needs!!!
