I've been using this company for roughly a decade. They left yesterday saying my AC was fixed, but it never cooled down, came back today and said a part needed to be replaced. The tech admitted removing that part to clean it the day before, but a day later it didn't work. I called support and apparently saying the tech may have screwed up cleaning the part, that translates to this genius that I'm saying they sabotaged my A/C. Your service manager is a moron.
Initially contacted this company to fix a heating unit. Unit didn’t get fixed (yet they still charged a service fee) the first time so called a second time. Few days later the same problem arose called them again statin I still had the same problem (charged yet another service fee) so they continued to blame the nest thermostat say it was the problem. $300, 2 service fees, and a brand new thermostat later I’m still experiencing the same problem and all mike wants to do is point fingers and play the blame game instead of stand behind the company’s work. You could say I was a tad irritated. When it comes down to it I don’t recommend this servicer and when the time comes to replace my almost 20year old unit in the spring they won’t be getting the work.
I called in to have some AC service done after hours. The tech called me back relatively quickly and I was pleased with that. What I was not pleased with was their pricing. Their diagnostic fee alone was $89 despite the fact that I already knew what was wrong. Other companies were willing to waive the fee and just charge the system. The cost of the R-22 refrigerant was $125/lb. There is no reason it should be that high. The other AC places I've called are charging between $55-65/lb for it.
Sure, I could have gotten the work done tonight, but for the $260+ I'll save by waiting till tomorrow, I'm going to take a cool shower and wait.
Thank you Allen's Air Care for saving the day. Tire World's air went out this morning and was not a good way to start the day on a hot day! Luckily I knew just who to call!!!!! Was out in a couple of hours and back to ice cold.!!! So a big thank you to Allen's Air Care for fast friendly service you can trust!
They listened to my issues. Then gave me options to solve the issue. They scheduled the work when it was convenient for me and completed the job professionally.
If there was a rating less than 1 star (like negative 50) that would be my recomendation. So far they have had to come to repair / fix malfuntions in the system several times and they have yet come prepared to actually do anything other than to confirm there's an issue and say they'll have to send another crew to actually address the issue. they were contacted seven days ago and told that the air was no longer coming from one of the vents and that our inspection indicated that the duct work had come detached from the trunk line as it was still attached at the vent. 3 1/2 days later they send a "service tech" who checks and confirms that it had indeed come loose at the trunk line and they would have to send someone else out to make the repair because he didn't have the necessary ducting because they didn't know what size it would be... they're the ones who installed it to begin with!! This is after having been out on at least three prior occassions for various other repairs but NEVER having the parts, equipment or right item to actually make the repair. So now with the latest breakdown its been 7 days and the problem still hasn't been fixed, not to mention we were told it would cost $600.00 to replace a duct run of about 8 feet. We will no longer deal with this company nor recommend them to anyone.
Called Allen's on 9/13/2017.. They came out the next day to fix a breaker problem for the central heat and air unit.. The gentleman was very polite and well mannered.. He explained what the problem was in great informed details.. Finally found a reputable service that I will use for here on..

We've used Allen's for years. At two separate homes we've had heating units fail and they've been quick and easy to work with.
