Wonderful products and wonderful service!! We had a new build with very specific HVAC needs and they found a way to make it work with top quality units that are so amazingly quiet and energy efficient! The technicians were extremely polite, respectful, knowledgeable, and hard working. I can’t recommended them more highly.

Technician Kaleb F was very friendly, efficient, and professional, and I could tell he loves his job. He thoroughly inspected and tested my furnace system and made the necessary adjustments. Everything was kept clean and tidy.

Shonda Matthews (service tech) was awesome. Very knowledgeable and was able explain the actual issue and what was done to fix the issue. Problem was diagnosed and solved quickly. Very professional, respectful, and easy to interact. Cook's send you a picture of the tech who coming to do service and they are on the way. I like that feature because I knew who coming to my door. I will use them again and willing to recommend Cook's to others.

Saturday morning the temperature was being predicted to be mid-(possibly higher) 90’s for the weekend, I have two long-haired dogs, limited income and now no AC. I got in touch with Cook’s mid-Saturday afternoon and they found me a spot Sunday between 12 and 4. Otherwise it would be Thursday before another appointment was available. Drawing from previous experiences with weekend appointments, I figured “between 12 and 4” would result in a 3:45 arrival. He was here at 12:15. I explained the situation and he went right to work. What seemed like no time at all, the fur babies each found a vent to lay beside and took themselves a “chillin” nap.
I hate that I forgot the name of the repairman. He assured me that everything was fixed correctly; seems others didn’t do things right (not from Cook’s). However my unit is over 25 years old and quite possibly on its last legs. There was no pressure to buy this or buy that. He offered to work up a quote for me to include three options.
He was quite punctual, kind, respectful, and diligent in his work...even offered the fur babies scratches behind their ears a time or two. 😁
SUMMARY: If I need service for my heat and/or air; will I call Cook’s Comfort System again? IN A HEARTBEAT!
Would I recommend them to a fried? With no qualms!
Matter of fact that’s how they were brought to my attention - a friend recommended them.

I have never been more impressed with friendly and concerned service Cook's Comfort offers.
We experienced cooling problems on a Wednesday and noticed our inside unit was an ice block. Knowing nothing could be done until it thawed, I waited until Thursfay afternoon when it appeared the unit had thawed.
We had never been customers with Cook's but they were highly recommended by friends. When I called I expected to have to wait until next week. I was advised that they were running a day behind but have me an after hours appointment for Friday at a minimal after hours surcharge. The receptionist advised that they would call if there was a earlier cancellation.
We were called after an hour and advised that they could move us to this evening if we desired.
The technician arrived within an hour and looked at the problem. He found on opening the unit that there was still ice on the interior. He advised that nothing could be done today but proceeded to remove the panels so the ice would melt better. He made arrangements to reset our appointment back to Friday. When I mentioned one item on the outside unit that concerned me, he graciously took a look and noticed the exterior coils were clogged and would need cleaning. He graciously, since he had time, did the cleaning to avoid it delaying further work.
For the service call we were only charged a minimal service call under $50. The additional work for the coil cleaning was under $200 and helped avoid additional work tomorrow.
I have never had a more courteous and accommodating technician. His friendliness and concern shows this company has loyal employees that like there work.
They will return tomorrow and do the further checks on the interior unit.
In today's world it is hard to find companies that put the consumer first. Thank you and your team for being so concerned and caring for the first time caller.

I have used Cook's Comfort Systems before and was satisfied with the repairs and felt that the charges were very reasonable. However, today's service call changed my mind completely.
All I needed was a thermostat replacement. The technician had one on his truck and had it replaced in less than 30 minutes. They charged $89 for the install (no complaints - that's standard) and $224 for the Honeywell thermostat (thought that was pretty high for a basic non-programmable model) for a total of $313. They sent me the receipt by email the next day and I checked the listed model number and sure enough they charged me $224 for a thermostat that cost $58 at Home Depot. I do expect to pay a premium, but more than TRIPLE?! I called them and asked politely if they really meant to do that. First I was told that it was not the same item (it really is- the model numbers are exact). Then I was told that they HAD to charge me that much because they were required to provide ONE year of labor warranty. All I can say is WOW

We bought our new heat pump from Cook’s after having estimates from 6 different local companies 2 years ago. They did a fantastic job with installation, and we couldn’t be happier with our new system. After 2 years we ended up with a blocked drainage tube (because we didn’t do the normal maintenance- bad on our part). Our technician, Shon, came out and knew what was wrong right away. He was able to explain the problem (and how to prevent it in the future), as well as what to expect while everything is drying out over the next few days. I highly recommend these guys!
