    JP is amazing! We have 2 HVAC units one for each floor of our home. We had issues with both within the same week during triple digit heat wave. JP wouldn’t stop until he found and remedied the issues at hand. He was professional and courteous. I appreciated how he took the time to educate us on the issues and how to fix them, always keeping us updated. He never complained about having to go under our house multiple times or even coming last minute on a Saturday morning to help us out. You can’t go wrong with JP’s heating and cooling!

    Would not use JP again, customer service was horrible!! He was very disrespectful when my wife and I tried to contact him to complete the installation of our new HVAC unit. After he installed it he did not even come inside to see if it was working, which it was not. We had to pay additional money to have a true professional come after him to diagnose the problem and get it working.

    Mr. J P basically knew what my problem was just by asking questions over the phone...I had already had someone to drop by and his diagnosis was way, way, way off the map...Mr. James gave me an excellent temporary fix until the right part could be placed on my HVAC system ...His expertise is off the charts, and he will be the ONLY person that I contact in the future..... I'm not writing this just to add my opinion; I rarely go to this length to relate my experiences, good or bad, however, in this case, I want middle Tennessee to know that Mr. JP is an outstanding professional at his craft, and this is NOT a paid advertisement!!!!......

    DO NOT get MISLEAD by this persons TALK and gray Hair. CROOK CROOK CROOK- STAY AWAY.

    Called perkins to fix heat at our house. First charged $165 for putting a new a limit switch. Problem still remained the same AC blew cold air. He then said motor is bad and wanted extra service fee for fixing the same problem and quoted $400 for putting a new motor. He took the motor out of the unit and took it with him without asking or telling anyone that he was doing so. Would not give the motor and asked for another service fee first. Found out that the motor wasn't even bad and unit doesn't have a new limit switch either. Put same motor back and replaced $20.000 rollout switch and AC is working great. Asked about receipt to show that he bought a limit switch, he denied. Asked for a full refund since he didn't fix the problem, stole the AC motor without permission and was scamming for $700 for a small issue. He doesn't know how to trouble shoot but works by trial n error.

    Lots of lies to cover improper diagnosis and trial and error fixes. First, I talked to Mr Perkins the day the work was performed (not the nest day) and complained about the burning smell and was told that since the units been off for a few days, that smell was normal. After finishing work the first time Mr. Perkins didn't turn this unit off/on to see if it would even come back on or not and hurried to get paid. Next day he was called with the same issue as first time that air was blowing but not HOT. he then mentioned that there would be another issue. He revisited and asked that combustion motor be changed ($400.00) and was burnt and he could smell it. Issue is Burnt motor needs to be tested by putting meter and not by odor. Common sense says is if the motor blew hot air the all evening after he said he fixed the issue, how can that motor now go bad and unit have same issue. Also this same motor now put back by another honest AC guy works just perfect and with no issues. Also this Ac technician advices that unit has no new limit switch as stated and changed by Mr. Perkins.Upon asking a receipt of purchase of a new limit switch he didn't provide any either. Perkins never told anyone or took anybodies permission (STOLE) to remove and carry the so claimed BAD motor with him, hoping that no body else can test it and he can put that same thing back and get paid for parts and labor. He says he carried it show the Trane guy. Its a lie because all you have to do is the model number and they can look up exactly what you need. Also even if he took it to show it, he never had any intentions to bring it back till forced to do so. We need refund for $165.00 and others to know that this guy is a crook and doesn't know what he is doing..."BEWARE

    I called on a Sunday, because my AC went out and its 90 degrees outside. He referred me to a friend of his who could come out that afternoon, since he could not make it out til Monday. Will definitely use them again, they are super friendly and helpful!

    Another company came out and told me they couldn't help me but had to charge me their service call anyways. JP came out and did his best and got it working for not a lot of money. Now I'm having a problem with another unit and intend to use him again.

    Mr. Perkins came right over and had our unit repaired in minutes. Very polite and professional! He took the time to explain what was wrong with our unit. Highly recommend Mr. Perkins!
