Northern Tool + Equipment

I ordered a product to be shipped to the the Madison Tennessee store and was told it would be there in 3 days. Going on 3 weeks I have still not received my order, so had to order from another company. Now can't get a refund or anything until they are ready to provide me one. Bad business and would not recommend having anything sent to this store.

If 0 stars was possible I would. This place is the most unprofessional business I have ever purchased something from. My boyfriend bought a saw from this place on 4/9 with the warranty and it didn’t run correct so he brought it back. A week later and we heard nothing. So. We decoded to go up there , the manager “Ann” was so rude to begin with. We explained the problem and she went to the back. When she came back she told us that we had broken the saw and what needed to be fixed was out of warranty. The was used 30 mins at the most because he noticed it was not working properly. We explained we either wanted a refund or a new saw since the one we bought was defective when we bought it. She was so ugly about it and refused to help. She told us there was no other manager that was useful there. I will never do business with them and I am contacting stilh

Staff at the Madison WI store have been great! Always willing to help out and working hard. Only 4-stars because prices at Northern Tool + Equipment aren't that great compared to other options for lower-end products (i.e. products the DIYer or non-professional home shop user would buy). Prices for the high-end products seem to be competitive.

Awesome. This is a great store. I didn’t buy anything, but Northern Tool is a great store for your tool needs.

very upset. called store and asked for axle for my trailer, said i needed a 5 lug, 5 inch bolt pattern. i was told they had it in stock for $219.99. went down to get it, after driving 45 minutes and they did not have the axle they told me they did. Not to mention the customer service on the phone was horrible. i am to a point of not using Northern Tool ever again.

Hard to get help from sales people.
Frequently out of stock on items I shop for, esp. Milwaukee tools.

Super friendly staff and a great place to to find a variety of things that the big chains do not carry. From tools and many items for your vehicle's as well. Highly recommend..!!!

Great selection for most every tool you may need. Prices are super-competitive.

I wasn’t exactly sure that what I was ordering would fit, called the number got a nice man with patience to help me, explained how I needed to measure my cab, cause the year was not matching up with what I needed. Did it, ordered it, hopefully in a few days we will extend our side by side riding into fall and early winter season. Thank you Northern Tool ! Karin Minssen

Did not find what we needed. Appeared to be short staff no one to assist, I will go back. It was a friendly atmosphere. The employee was friendly with customers they were helping and knowledgeable.
